Abandoned Springfield Pub in Springfield-Milton Keynes (England)

Seeing this makes me very sad, this was my home as a 10 year old child when it was first built and brand new, me and my family had some lovely times in this pub, great customers too. Very Sad how Milton Keynes has gone down the pan!

A lot of very good places with happy memories have either gone bust or have been demolished. I even heard because this place has been damage and vandalized that there planning to get rid of the Pub and build a Community Center in it's place.

I too lived here when I was younger when my Nan owned it 4 years before it fully closed down. It’s nice to see that it looked the same as I remembered

My best mate's father used to go there regularly back in the eighties when we lived on Fishermead. I wonder what they are planning to do with it? Maybe build a block of flats.

The only thing that the MK City Council have discuss in there idea on what to build in it's place was a Community Center, no further news since then.

Went for a look today 14/7/19 Just want to say everything has been boarded up and secured with the addition of CCTV cameras and Warning signs.. (obviously walked away) but it's great you managed to capture some decent footage. It's still up for sale so I'm not sure I would class it as abandoned, just empty.

I went and film Springfield Pub in June as it say's in my description so I captured everything I can at that time. I've seen the Men boarding it up as I pass by Springfield Pub often, When the People up and left for Bedford, the Pub was abandoned til a year ago there put up a "Sale" sign. Do you know any good location is not illegal to break in and good filming location? I base in MK and we do action for films , looking for places to film fight scene here and there . Thanks

How did your Hunt for Fight scenes go? I had a Fight with the Mayor of Bergen in Oslo Last month We had a Disagreement about who had the most Shiny shoes. And also Was Frode Kippe the Former Norwegian football player The worst ever Mongolian throat singer ever.
