Abandoned Truckstop - Westfield Indiana

I always wondered why it closed down. And I often wonder why it's still there! When I Googled it today, the only thing I found was this video lol You know there is some legit legal reason why it's not been demolished by now. It does make one curious! When it first opened I hung out there with friends - they had a pool table in the convenience store side we'd play on. I worked in the restaurant side for a short time as well. It was a good spot back then but it sure didn't last long. Thanks for the video - I'm sure it smelled great in there too :)

Tried to get in a few years ago and saw sleeping bags and stuff inside but couldn’t actually get in lol. Birdies was gonna be there too but they didn’t because that place had gas chemicals

The place is pretty much all gutted. I don't know for how long, but the door was pretty much left open for awhile. I remember driving by a few weeks prior to filming and seeing it open

Info on the truck stop has been limited for me, the only sources I've come across claims that being the reason. Yeah, It could be because of something else though. What do you think the reason was for it's closure?

I’ve heard it closed because they didn’t want to switch out the tanks. Apparently McClure oil down the street on 31 used to be at this location and they still own the property.

And they refuse to sell because of their apparent bad interaction with the city of Westfield
