Hi. I was so sad to see all those decaying boats. Quick story: I'm a Colorado native and grew up camping and fishing. Both my folks were from small mountain towns and it was just normal to me to be out doors. My Grandparents would invite me every year to spend the summers with them on their boat. We would eat and sleep and fish, honestly I think they brought me to drive the boat. lol. I had a blast. I'm hoping that all those boats had people like me that remembered all the good times. Kind of silly, I guess. I'm trying to catch up with all of your older video's. Thank you for the explore, it was fun. See you next time.

Given the range of ages of those boats from old fiberglass to really old wooden, I'm going to guess it was a hoarder that collected these over 30+ years. Lots of boats available out there from dirt cheap to free and some people just can't resist.

Probably shouldn't tell folks where these places are, some may not have good intentions. Appears to be a hoarder, collector of his/her favorite things? Thank you for another interesting explore. I used to drive by a house in the UP of MI that had an old boat in the front yard with a mannequin type guy waving. Over the decades driving past I was sad to see it eventually rot away. Was a marker that I was nearing Marquette MI for decades. Great job! Thanks!

Those arent boats, those are kindling. Or decayed dreams. Getting rid of the lead is very difficult. Something that should be considered going into any project. Be it a home, boat, car, business, animal(s), relationship, hobby, ANYTHING! We live fairly minimalist lives, hubby and I, and we still find an overflow to be responsible for! 😢 Hubby was a journeyman house painter prior to quitting (fumes!!!) and going into computer consulting, and he knows about the poison in the paints and stains! Kiddos used to pick off and eat the lead paint in tennament buildings, because it's sweet, and they were hungry. Then they are lead poisoned. 🥺 So much to clean up. Thank you for the boat tour! i used to live on a boat much like the one you were on when you said the Jaws quote! (nice!) It was fun while it lasted.

I believe the first few wooden girls were fire damaged. All those old GM small block engines just left in them to rust up solid is a crying shame. A lot of vintage car and boat restorers would die to get their hands on a period correct engine like those.
