Hey Kim and Tye. We made it to FLL in record time. It was pretty sporty. Kept an 8-10 knot pace in 15-25 winds. Pro tip: Leaving the inlet, we discovered some stole both our Navioncs chips from our chart plotter. So, unfortunately, that marina has a thief in the area. Be aware. Best ~Whit

Mattie,you didnt mention where in maine you and your boyfriend are moving too. But being in the navy and working on submarines you must be moving to Bangor. If so i can tell you that you will love the life in Bangor . Its a beautiful clean place to live and probably one of the safest places in this country to live. congratulations for the whole family. I won't break out the chemistry, but in the soap biz, Ty should try some of the non reactive liquid extract from the soap making process. It's basically biodiesel, or chemically a methyl-ester. It's a natural cleaner for petroleum residue on engine parts. Just don't get it on petro-based rubber products, because it will break them down. Keep a little in a teflon or silicon squeeze bottle and you're good to go.

First I wish the girls all the best. Remember mom and are always 24/7 Ready to help. For mom and dad start with valerian pills for the nerves. Second submerge in projects zero idle time. A try to live with a 1 week call. I have 1 girl in VA another in Connecticut and the boy close. So is thought at the beginning ❤

I am happy that Maddie has found her partner praying for life. I hope her and her sailor partner soon realize that being in the Navy without being married will leave many doors closed. Although I am certain the wives will welcome her the bureaucracy will not. She will not be recognized in any official nature as his partner. I am surprised he has not discussed this with her. The biggest closed door is medical benefits. As a retired Navy person can assure you that is the best program you have as a military dependent. She will not have access to that unless they get married. There are several benefits I won't go into but I assure you her life will be better much if they get married. Especially when he goes to sea.
