To me watching this incredible troupe, there is not one single person who is the star. They are all brilliant dancers and work together in such unison ,it is beautiful to watch and the music choices are also so amazing. The choreographer Akane san is very talented and has brought together wonderful ladies to dance to her creativity. Now to put my comments into perspective , I am not a dancer, in fact I have no real rhythm and two left feet. But I do love the way the young in Japan have developed a sense of western style and then taking it further into a Japanese culture. This has been developed by the High School in Japan and nothing more so, than their Senior & Junior High School Bands,( which is heavily influenced by the female students). I am a huge fan of the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School band, especially in their ability to perform their parades and shows, with amazing choreography, which they develop themselves. Like the lady has done with Avangardy. So I am convinced a lot of what you see started in high school Anyway that’s my 1 yen’s worth
