Good question. Rotor to rotor distance must be set depend on the backlash of the gear and run-out of the rotors. Suppose you have Gear Backlash = 0.10mm as per the video and rotor runout = 0.02mm then add them all = 0.12mm. This means that the distance between rotor must be above 0.12mm to avoid rotor collision. Therefore you can use 0.20mm filler gauge between rotors when you tight the gear.
