One lesson that stuck with me while I watched this movie is this: While Dele was refusing to do God's will by shining God's Light when sent to the university, the Lord was preparing Flora to do that same work at the same university even though she isn't there yet. This tells us that while we linger or even apparently refuse to do God's will about something, the Lord is preparing another willing vessel. The Lord Jesus Christ never lacks men!! Lord Jesus, pls keep us obedient to your cause in Jesus name.

What that last scene reminded me of is this, "our scars are testimonies". They are our track record. Our sufferings and experiences are instrumental to our journey. If we didn't slay the lion, Goliath would be a big deal. The response he gave was almost exactly as David's "when the lion came, I smote him, you're nothing compared to that" (in paraphrase though). We really don't know why we go through those phases of trial until we have passed the test and meet a similitude. I really appreciate the Mount Zion and their intentional upgrades. Who else noticed an improvement in lighting, cinematography and the likes? I pray you won't only communicate the message of the kingdom but also do it excellently. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Christian movies like this stirs up faith in us and complement sermons we hear, in addition to spiritual exercises in our quiet time. This episode has really strengthened me. The major thing am taking away from this episode is allowing God groom me such that I can shine his light in dark places without fear. Carrying Jesus on my head like Baba Gbenro and getting to a point where I wouldn't mind dying in order to reach the lost.

I must commend the last scene as well! Awesome professionalism coupled with great sfx. Top notch! The way Martins got rattled when those guys mentioned no blood, no glory was really well scripted and acted. It shows it's normal that we get afraid when faced with realities of life but the way we handle them is was matters most. That's why I love the way he composed himself and took charge as the son of the Lion that he is. Truly, no blood, no glory and that's why we must always glory in the finished work of Christ on the cross. Hallelujah! I loved the way they (the cultists) cowered in fear too. The call "Holy Spirit help me" was the greatest thing in the episode for my household. The prompt response of His help which resulted in Martins response caused a fire out pour in my teenage daughter. Yes! I saw the Holy Spirit help indeed and the fire spread to all of my household. I started watching Abattoir Sunday evening and could not stop. I can't say the number of scenes I prayed along or the number of times I cried for joy. This movie has really ministered to me. My faith is on fire and like Flora prayed, " I am dead, Christ lives in me". This movie speaks to me on different levels. The last scene taught me something strong and I will hold unto it for the rest of my life, God help me; Holy is ever close to us than we think. Recalling testimonies help to combat whatever problem or challenge before us, just as David recalled the testimony of how he defeated Bear and Lion and that made Goliath look like a dead man before him. Another point I might add is, cast your mind back to that scene in Season 2, where Chief Gbade killed that girl, Jumoke and used her for sacrifice. Nemesis caught up with him, as he lost his own daughter too. •Jumoke's dad on TV cried and placed a curse on the killer, saying that God will judge the person. What I've learnt so far from this God written movie is that God delights in grooming, teaching, strengthening and toughen his beloved because the assignment ahead is fierce and all experience is needed.
