Reser Stadium please welcome back onto the field, the oldest band in the Pac12 conference, the Spirit and Sound of OSU, here they go again, it’s the Oregon State University Marching Band! Today the band throws it back to the 1970’s, to the beat-thumping, finger-pointing music of the disco era. Not just any disco music though, this is the good stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, the music of ABBA!

Ah yes, here we go again folks. ABBA was one of the first groups to break out of the Eurovision Song Contest, and they’ve been in our hearts ever since.
// Mama Mia //
Closing the show is ABBA’s most iconic work. Dance, Jive, and feel the beat from the tambourine, you know what to do.
// Dancing Queen //
The Spirit and Sound of OSU is under the direction of Director of Bands Dr. Chris Chapman and Director of Athletics Bands Olin Hannum. The staff include Drumline Instructor Justin Preece, Color Guard instructor Kristin Heckers, interim Assistant Director Danny Mitchell, assistant Drumline Instructor Jade Hails, and Staff Assistants Dave Manela and Sage Gustafson. I’m the voice of the Spirit and Sound, Dr. Steve Zielke, and we will see you for the post-game show!
