Definitely my favorite of the 2 songs. The lyrics to this one are just so touching. I have always been a HUGE Agnetha fan, but Frida's voice here is just flawless. It is just so pure and controlled, and I love how she goes in and out of the lower register so easily.

Frida's vocals sound exactly how they were in Abba. I have been an Agnetha fan since starting to listen to their music, but Frida's vocals are perfection on these new singles.

I’m in love with both songs. Don’t Shut Me Down is authentic ABBA to the core; a true dance track! This one though: what a profound reintroduction to their return. How one band can command the attention of an entire world with the power of their music is unheard of. This is possibly the most beautiful ABBA song I’ve ever heard…possibly from ANY group. It’s message is personal and positive. There is no way to counter that. This is a grand return of a group that has lost nothing along the way to get here at a time when music needs to be the most powerful thing there is.

I grew up with Abba and I can say that this is just as good if not better then when they were in their prime. It just seems like they picked up right where they left off. It's great they are back.

Have you seen the titles of the 10 new songs on the album? For those familiar with the ABBA Undeleted medley, there are a couple of familiar titles - Just a Notion and Bumblebee. I Still Have Faith in You When You Danced with Me Little Things (a Christmas one!) Don't Shut Me Down Just a Notion I Can Be that Woman Keep an Eye on Dan Bumblebee No Doubt about It Ode to Freedom

A Christmas-themed smash that becomes a favourite every December is all that was missing from their back catalogue (even though Happy New Year is amazing and on several festive compilations in the UK). It'll be interesting to see if it's an understated ballad, or full on pop with sleigh bells etc. 🎄

Both newly released songs have lots of references to ABBA songs as well as their beyond-the-band projects ("My colouring book" by Agnetha or "The Sun Will Shine Again" and "Morning Has Broken" by Frida).

Yes, "morning has broken" is very similar. Both songs show so much of their past material in one, I love it.

@@davidpastuck7245 Exactly! Plus I see some tiny resemblance to "Mio, My Mio" in the flute sounds on the background in "I Still Have Faith In You". Maybe, I'm wrong, but I have strong associations with that. And, at least for me, it sounds a bit similar to "Efter regnet", released on Benny's "Klinga mina klocko" in 1987.

It amazes me how many people are commenting here as if there have been no Agnetha or Frida recordings and no Benny & Bjorn songs since 1982. The womens vocals are an octave lower than they were back in 82 but thats no big suprise to those of us who have followed their work from 1983-2020!!

It is way too bad that this will be their very last and final album that they made /release according to Bjorn and Benny, or so they said in an interview. Abba has a signature sound that many acts try and recreate example: Steps. The two new singles they brought that signature sound back again. If you watch Melodifestavalin you will see many acts sounding like abba, abba has that signature sound that they brought back with the new music.
