Its a decent fan mix, trying to turn the brief snippet released in 1994 as part of Undeleted as a complete track. It fascinates me that most bands would have thought yeah its ok, stick it on an album or a B~side but Benny & Bjorns quality control is what made ABBA great. A lot of effort went into the strings and bass for this outcast, and different lyrics ('UnderMy Sun') were employed when the melody was attempted for inclusion in the 1979 tour. Ultimately it was dropped (You can hear Bjorn calling for the song to end on the bootleg tape of 'Under My Sun'), part of the melody was retained in Benny's brain and resurfaced during the writing of 'Under Attack' a couple of years later. That happened with other tracks as well, for example 'Dreamworld' recorded in 1978 (and released on the 4 X CD in 1994) gave part of its melody to 'Does Your Mother Know' the next year and there were countless out~takes for the song 'Like An Angel Passing Through My Room' strung together in a medley for The Visitors deluxe 13 minute track 'From A Twinkling Star To A Passing Angel'. Its debateable how much of these rareties was actually recorded as when ABBA were in the studio, if they felt something wasn't working they would simply stop recording and put the demo away. Personally I doubt there's anymore Rubberball Man 'In The Can'.

I think this was recorded during the Voulez-Vous era. If they would have pushed it, they could have had an album between The Album and Voulez-Vous. This song, Dream World (with a reworked bridge), Summer Night City, Does Your Mother Know (alt version-replaced on Voulez-Vous with Gimme Gimme Gimme), Cryin’ Over You (with additional backing vocals by A&A), Free (new lyrics, amped production), Lovelight, Just a Notion, and Autumn Leaves (Hamlet 3), plus I’m sure they could have added one more. They had so much going on then, and they were such perfectionists, of course this could never have happened, but just goes to show their depth.

It’s from 1979 and it’s an outtake from the Voulez Vous sessions. Was never intended for GHV2 as it never progressed passed the demo stage

No. This is an unreleased recording from 1979 when they were rehearsing for their world tour. A snippet of the song has been released in 1994 and this is a fan edit.

The song is lacking base, song is basic. Dream world is much better but because ABBA sung it it's still so much better than most music of today.
