I used to slow dance with my friend when we'd listen to this song as children. She knew I didn't understand lyrics in songs, I usually couldn't hear the words in songs very well either, so I listened to what sounded nice to me. She knew the meaning of the song, I didn't but I thought it sounded like romantic music where you'd slow dance with someone you cared about. So we'd dance and smile at each other and get a break from all the crazy shit that was happening in our households. She died in November and now I just keep crying and listening to the ABBA songs we danced to, but lol if I hear it in public and start crying people will probably think I'm crying because of Better Call Saul 😂. I wish I could hold her and dance with her again, but not in this lifetime. Not anymore. The slowed version makes me feel like I'm swimming through those memories with the mixed emotions that come with remembering those times.
