The live version is better than the studio.I'm referring to the ultimate Live performance that got filmed during the Australian tour 1977.That's a very popular one to Abba fans.The best editing/well cared video to this live performance is from the "AbbaVideos" channel that doesn't cut the intro (featuring the crowd massively entering the Arena, neither the outro parts of the fan's electric reaction after the song finishes.).It's a monumental real ABBA rock live anthem with Frida 'exploding' on stage.

If you recall when you reacted to Happy Hawaii, this is the same melody but with a completely different treatment! I LOVE both versions & they sound SO very different. Only ABBA could achieve something like this, pure genius ❤

"Why did it have to be me" (1976) It is another very good song from the fantastic and iconic album "Arrival" it has a happy and danceable rhythm Björn is the voice in the opening verse and the ladies Frida and Agnetha sing the response as a duet It was premiered live for the Swedish TV special 'ABBA DABA DO' and then performed on the TopPop show. But the most memorable is for ABBA's 1977 tour of Europe and Australia. there towards the end ABBA performs a mini musical of four new songs (which will be on the next album: 'The Album', 1977) the girls change outfits, wearing the same with blonde wigs, to play the same character first Agnetha is going to change (because she is the main voice of the first song of that musical) then the other three perform this song and Frida has all the center stage, and she does a histrionic performance and Benny also excels on keyboards the video is unmissable, taken from the movie 'ABBA The Movie' that filmed that unforgettable tour "Why did it have to be me" It is also one of the numbers that many years later Benny Andersson himself included on his tours with his BAO orchestra. Both girls are singing in the studio version but Frida's voice is more dominant in this song. You should definitely do a reaction to the live version from their Australian concert tour in 1977. The best video you can find at the channel 'Abba Videos'.

Both ladies sing in this recording- the studio version. The live versions in concert for both the 1977 and 1979 tours is Frida with Bjorn. I prefer the studio version of this song but the live versions are always worth checking out.

"Happy Hawaii" has a saved real fun and rare retro-cartoon video btw.It's the early "tropical-version" of WDIHTBM with the girls on the lead, before the song progressed to end up as a country rock track.

I finally saw that clip somewhere around the '00s that now anyone can see this in utube.I also have a copy of their 7 inch 1977 single of "Knowing Me Knowing You" that i got somewhere around the mid '90s ( bought it via mail) to which this was b'side with the indication "Early version of Why did it have to be me?" written on the cover of it.

The most part of this song is the live performance. This is almost nothing. You have to teact to the live version. Is only Frida with the boys. Agnetha was changing outfit. Frida dancing and have good tome, is everything in this song.
