I never get bored of any of the ABBA performances. I am Indonesian, but used to live in the Netherlands during the mid 70's right in the middle of ABBA's popularity years. Their songs are unforgettable and bring back so many sweet memories of my childhood and my late parents back. I feel sorry that they had to split from each other.

Benny's chronic alcoholism was mainly kept quiet - and kudos on getting sober - but realistically that would have made working impossible at times. I saw them twice - Birmingham 1977 and Wembley 1979 - and they were magnificent but let's be realistic, it must have been bloody awful at times. Still love them though!

All groups know that nothing lasts forever,why would you,you have your time,you move on, ABBA stopped because they had their time musically and personality,it happens,just like the rollers,etc,but bad management,bad record company, ripped off from the start,discarded like rubbish,took their money,that was it,bent justice system,or gustapo rule,take advantage of young people.its a young person's game if your successful,right management,have a justice system in your favour.

Judith, Benny and Bjorn owned in part Polar Music (their label) so I'm sure poor management was not in the equation of disbanding. I think they just got tired of POP music and family life was playing a good part with Agnetha.
