No auto tune, no computer editing, just raw talent and analog recording greatness. No audio engineer now could do what these folks did in the 70’s. It’s a lost art.
@j.lindback10 күн бұрын
Pitch correction was being done even back then, the difference being that it took a lot of time, and was not being done routinely (ABBA even did it on "The king has lost his crown", but that may have been the only time). You are completely wrong about audio engineers not being able to do that today; the question is, is anyone going to pay for it...? How the production is going to be made is a producer/record label decision, not a decision of the audio engineer. The one who pays always have the final say.

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" Half past twelve And I'm watching the late show in my flat all alone How I hate to spend the evening on my own Autumn winds Blowing outside the window as I look around the room And it makes me so depressed to see the gloom There's not a soul out there No one to hear my prayer Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away? Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day Movie stars Find the end of the rainbow, with a fortune to win It's so different from the world I'm living in Tired of T.V.
