My mom had cancer arround 2012-2014 and she was a happy person, dynamic. But when she got sick in her face I only saw sadness and depression, so when I heard the parts that says "You'll be dancing once again and the pain will ends" I imagine here dancing, singing, laughing again not in this live, in heaven, she is now with our God without grievings, just like I imagine her when I saw in her sickness. It may be that I never had hope that she would overcome cancer, but I always had the hope that she would be happy as I know she is now, not earthly but her soul is.

years ago when i told the doctor i was depressed, my mom yelled at me afterwards (i guess maybe it caught her off guard, dunno how tho lol). hours later, she came into my room while i was sleeping, hugged me and told me she wanted me to listen to a song. so she lays down and makes me lay with her and she hugged me and plays this song while she cries. we didn’t talk really, we just listened while she hugged me and rubbed my head like she did when i was a little girl. i don’t really remember what happened afterwards, i just remember her leaving the room. it’s been years and we haven’t talked about my mental health since, and she’s become more intense in her religion so it’s been really suffocating. but in my sad times i come back to this and remember that moment. it’s like- not much happened but a lot did at the same time and while it didn’t change anything, the song just reminds me of those couple minutes and that feeling i had while i listened to the lyrics. how i wanted to sob, but didn’t, how i was so angry but so sad for my mom who went through so much trauma, how we both went through so much together and how she just didn’t know how to help or how to talk to me but tried to make me feel better if just for a couple minutes. on our worst days i can’t relate to her at all and i have to just think of this moment of when she tried her best to show me she could

When I was a kid I had the Abba Gold CD. I went through severe bullying and didn't have friends like the other kids. When I came home from school the first thing I did was turn on my CD and listen to it over and over because it was the only thing giving me comfort during those years. Abba literally saved my childhood and gave me hope for a better future. I'm so incredibly grateful for their music, that will forever live on. Love them ❤️

Congratulations! I know what you mean. I was bullied very much in school and had hard rock pushed on me and was criticized for having the Abba logo on one of my book covers. Abba's music has been a major relief to me, too. I am glad they helped you!
