There are some sahaba (like Abbad bin Bishr) whom are occasionally namedropped by the other sahaba, and it is clear from these mentions that there contemporaries held them in high regard, but we never learn what they were like and why they were thought of so highly. One of the things I love about this series is that it covers those gaps. Jazak Allahu Khayra.

Please brother. This is what broke the ummah in the first place. Islam is not about Sunnis and shias. It is about brotherhood and unity. This is what we lack. The first sentence of your comment shows disunity. Where has this mistrust and disunity led us? This is time we should come together and make dua’ and help one another not attack one another and go against each other. We are all a family.

@@hurrahfidh I agree with you 100%. I am neither Shia nor Sunni. I rely solely on the Quran for guidance in my Deen. What I am not happy is that the Sunnis are the overwhelming majority and must act on behalf of all Muslims. Dua without action is useless, I think. Everyday Dua, everyday history and the kufar keeps killing us. I am an African living in Ghana, West Africa, but I feel so much pain for the brothers in the Middle East. I can't watch the international news channels anymore because of pain. Action! Action!! Action!!!
