Back in the early 80's, I tried my dads razor one morning. I went to school looking like I had been fighting a tiger or something. Hated it. Hated and dreaded shaving. Went in the military, had to shave every day so I used the most blades I could get in a cartridge. Hated it. Fast forward life till six months ago and I found my fathers old razors. I started looking them up on line and found your videos at the same time. Now after some trial and many many errors, I look forward to shaving. I've been using a Gillette 48-50 SS, Red Tip, Blue Tip and Slim Adjustable with Astra green blades and Wilkinson Sword. I've learned a lot from your videos and I wanted to say Thank You. So thank you.

There has been many shaves you have done where I wish there was smellavision. I am very lucky to not need smellavision when you do your Christmas shave with the original old spice shaving soap. I only use it on a special anniversary, my birthday and Christmas day. All I need it a little bit from the puck for a one pass shave. Hopefully my face will be healed up by the time my birthday rolls around. Take care Paul.

It’s cooled down a bit this week but Saturday it was 38C with 96% humidity. You best believe I shaved with ice water and lots of menthol that day 😂. Cheers Paul 👍🏻💈

Packaging is important, shows character and class. Tried Krokos several years ago, It didn't seem to agree with me then🤔may try it again as well as the other offerings. 32° here in Bedford. Dropped my wife home after lunch, before my next appointment had a sneeky cool shower and changed my shirt. By the time I got to my next appointment I might as well have taken the the shirt with me in the shower, ringing wet. 😰😰😰 Great shave! Those products looked amazing.

Terrific products and shave Paul! Beautiful arrangement Mrs. H! The black-eyed Susan's and milkweed are in full bloom now and the butterflies are loving it. Hot and humid here too and the garden has taken off. Despite planting late everything seems to have caught up. We have been eating lettuce, kale, spinach, green peppers, and cherry tomatoes. Lot's of cucumbers on the way as well as beans. I'm off for a Proraso menthol shave. Take care, Ossie

I’ve always heard of that company, but like you I’ve never tried their products before. I’ll have to order some after summer is over as soaps will surely melt in this heat. It’s been stifling hot here in Texas. 92-95* F and very humid. Lots of cold water, mentholated for me shaves recently!

@@duncanidaho7494 yeah! Using it in a Merkur 37c, the slant bar razor. I think it really extends the life of the blade. Btw, unless I'm mistaken, I love your tardigrade STO art.

I haven't had much luck with the spoiler blades. I got a few in one of those dispensers they used to come in, the first blade was superb, but subsequent ones not so good. I couldn't get one use out of the rest of them. They were not cutting through all that well. Stopped mid shave, put a Gillette Super Thin in and it was okay. Maybe time caught up with them or something. Anyway, nice shave, Paul. Looking forward to Sunday.

I've bought the first version of Krokos a few years ago. Not much scent on that one. Also a different colour compared to your version. My version looks far more white/yellow compared to yours. Actually a bit disappointed in the v1, but looking at your shave I might try v2 out....

The reason they don’t make the spoiler any more is because sales of blades took a massive drop as people were getting too many shaves from a blade 😂🤣😂😆
