Beautifully photographed and edited, summarizing three days' journey together...an example of an affirmative answer to God's invitation and charge to humanity to join as skilled stewards of creation - the human craft and art and the beauties of birdsong, plants and weather join in a reverent and loving introduction to the abbey and its Benedictine residents, and to their life of devotion and worship. When we think of beauty or joy we often think of that which we have in our life today. For me the music the priestly services bring back so many beautiful memories. What I have forgotten comes back in such a powerful spiritual way. Joy is such a celebration of the heart. I found myself part of the each scene. I love the statues that speak quietly, the buildings there forever, and in a way I almost wish I could stop at certain pictures or statues and just spend time with each one in my own way. However, a little bird leads us on and each new form of life brings life all in itself. In a way I find myself asking many questions that I know possibly cannot be answered, but that is okay because I felt that God lead and showed us this life. God's spiritual guidance and I have to say the little bird................brought us into a life many of us never would see. I thank God that Ingrid has the ability to write words, or even her method of silence that lifts hearts and soothes the souls. Thank you Dear Lady!

I had to watch this again. It is so profound that it really has affected me. The hymns present the images of the gospels of love. With the auditory and visual we walk. Paintings, statues, buildings all are part of the walk. Yet, are we following or in some spiritual sense and vision there is Our Lord with us? With this vision our souls are allowed to be free and our movements are like the bird, singing, flying and maybe somewhere in the end we find eternal life, a life that is not easy to explain, but in this life I believe we will know the full essence of God's true love.
