Abbey discusses her differences and jealousy with former neighbor Jordan

This was a very important night where Abbey reconnected with her childhood neighbor, Jordan. She spent years being jealous and making her feel uncomfortable for being a typical kid. Jordan would often hang with Abbey’s younger brother, Ben and it made Abbey feel left out and not a part of the group so she would copy Jordan and imitate her. They both wanted to be friends, but weren’t sure how to approach one another. But now, fast forward nearly a decade and Abbey has come so far in her journey with understanding herself and her emotions. It was actually her idea to invite Jordan over to catch up and understand each other better now that they’re adults. Really amazing night and another part of Abbey’s growth!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am on the autism spectrum and usually when I get very close to nuerotypical people - I feel heartbroken in some way when I compare my life situation to theirs. I’ve been in relationships with nuerotypical people just to feel not only ashamed of who I am but jealous of my partners who seem to just glide through the world. I’ve never heard anyone be honest about that before. It takes a long time and even a lifetime to realize that God made us special for a reason and the gifts that are unique to us are what we are here to bring forth into the world. It’s okay to be different and it’s okay to be considered normal. There is a middle ground where we can all meet and love each other if we are open enough. I’ve been of Abby since Season 1. God bless your family & David’s family ❤

That's right, abbey! You've conquered another goal, which is being humble and recognizing your mistakes and owning up to it. Something most adults don't do. You admit your weaknesses and worked through them. I wish you well on your journey. Continue to be a good friend and you can conquer anything you want in life. Never let a disability define you. ❤

There's something here that they definitely tried to gloss over and I really want to know why. Abbey said, "lying to someone is the worst". And her mother shut that down immediately, "what but we're not talking about that now". Jordan's micro mannerisms change in her facial features as soon as that happened and her Shoulders slightly dropped and fold inward a bit. That is a sign of not just uncomfortability but also when someone strikes an emotional nerve within you. Now I'm wondering what the hell that's about. What did Jordan lie about when they were younger that Abbey is still fixated on? Also, it's been a while since I've seen Abbey this uncomfortable. She Definitely Does Not like Jordan for some reason. It's seems like she's fighting to get over it but that it's still buried in her.
@Christine-Abbeysmom
@Christine-Abbeysmom 2 ай бұрын
Very detailed analysis. Abbey speaks in memories and often goes off topic. The lying reference ( triggered by the word comfortable) was about her brother's ex girlfriend, who Jordan knew as they went to the same school. We always bring Abbey back to the topic to help with organization thinking. etc. This night was a milestone in Abbey's growth that she wanted to do this because she feels like she can communicate and 'be part of the group' - which led to Jordan and her boyfriend being the production team that we used to shoot Abbey's new music video "Categories". - coming out in April!

I know exactly what Abby feels like when it comes to jealousy. I am in the autism spectrum just like Abby is and I have always felt extremely jealous of people who were more successful in any way. When I say this I was always severely jealous of people who had straight As when I was in school and people who appeared to be liked by others more than me. I would always cry and complain and say it straight to peoples faces. Abby feels jealous of others because she wants to be just as successful as others and I’m sure she works just as hard as anyone else does

Abby is so amazing but i do kind of feels bad for Jordan for being put in this situation. Like I understand. It's a great accomplishment for Abby, but i do feel the dynamic of this video is odd. Now that i feel better about myself and my accomplishments, i can be nice? She's sitting here in a situation where someone who is her friend is repeatedly saying they were jealous of her. And her vib is "im a nice person but this is awkward" Kudos to Jordan for being a big enough person to do a video like this.

Jordan is like wtf is this…… lol she never got to speak. It’s strange bc Abby seems in some videos to be mature but yet the people surrounding her speak to her as if she is a small child. Abbey even spoke differently when she was at the wolf lodge out in public. I dk it’s hard to understand the mind of abbey. But I’m glad she’s showing herself and helping many around the world. Hopefully one day I will understand

Teal Swan put out a video on autism and I’ve never looked at it the same again. She gets real deep but basically, summarized, autism is a half-spiritual/half-3D Physical perspective. Not fully integrated into the material and still perceiving heaven, essentially. We are supposed to grow by having an autistic soul in our lives. They are the leaders of the world. Ever since hearing that, I’ll never pity or misunderstand these people again.
