Dear Tanna: I gather that your uncle was Br. Thomas Arthon. I only met him briefly - he died just before I entered. I do hope you have the opportunity to visit. Retreats are easy to arrange and are by donation, so if you are a little strapped for cash, we accept what you can give. Many blessings, Br. Lawrence

I recommened you guys read the book ''Burnt out incense'' it's about the history of the Abbey of Gethsemani, since as born and until 1948, is the book of a saga called Citeaux, is the third one. It's one of the book that has given me more faith and hope, just inspired me. I highly recommend this book.
