I have a quick tip. Put your micellar water in a foaming pump bottle. I pump it in my hand and rub it on face. It’s like a lather that wipes away clean. You can also just pump it on your towel. I use way less product, because most of it doesn’t soak into the towel. I get less irritation because I’m using my hands and not the towel. That Redken leave in stinks. It does its job, but I couldn’t handle that smell.

Hey Abbey! About the elf lip balm I calculated it and it's $4 for 0.21 oz, or $19 per oz. That's pretty cheap compared to Eadem which is a whopping $48 per oz or Naturium which is $30 per oz. I love the grape and vanilla ones and whenever I go to Target I get a bunch. Hope this helps somebody!

I’m big in double cleansing and honestly the one and only cleansing balm I swear by is the good molecules one. The price is right, it rinses off nice, it’s effective removing makeup, no fragrance, doesn’t sting my eyes and no break outs. But I always keep a bottle of garnier micelar water JUST IN CASE. The little travel sizes of those work and plus I can take those with me when I travel.

Here's some thicker K-beauty moisturizers that I love and recommend: Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream, Aestura atobarrier 365 cream, and Mary&May idebenone + blackberry complex intensive total care cream. All are great for the winter and for sensitive skin! I use the Mary&May one during the day because of the added antioxidant benefits.

The Maybelline brow gel is so close to perfect. I assumed my first tube was a defect due to the lack of a stopper, picked up a second tube and that proved to be the deal breaker. The difference between a more substantial stopper and the current packaging is occasionally getting so much gel on the wand that it ruins your brows - unfortunately I’ll be sticking to more expensive alternatives until they fix the packaging issue. Thank you for mentioning this because I haven’t seen any other reviewers share that information with their viewers!

Hey! I’m from Brasil and I love your content ❤ Here we don’t have the majority of the products and brands that they sell in the US, the ones we do have are from the drugstore, like Dove, pantene, head and soulders and tresseme. Kerastase and Redken are like up to R$1000. K8 and living proof don’t really sell here. But I really apreciate the guidence, tecnices and your commitment to Science, that makes it easier to filter and spend my money with stuff that actualy works. Don’t get me wrong, here we have a great haircare industry, brands like soul power, Lola, apse and the ones from the drugstore. But there’s a big culture of Low and no poo, witch don’t work for my oily scalp and the hot temperatures. And people believe that you have tô follow a Hair cronograme: hidration (water mask), nutricion (oil mask) and reconstruction (protein mask). We know that hidration isn’t a thing, and it’s a marketing tactic tô make us spend more money. Now I wash my hair 3x a week, with detox shampoo always, twice, I use a cheap coconut oil with paraffin as a pré Wash treatment, use hair mask with amodimethicone, style my hear with sm multibeneficial cream and oil as evenly as I can and all my products are from the drugstore and most of them do as good or even a better job than the high end ones that I’ve tested because of silicones and sulfates 🧚🏼♀️ I also use a gentle hair brush and am trying to brush it with my lightest hand lol. The point is that your tips changed my hair Sorry for the tiping mistakes, my corector is failing me right now. Don’t stop girl, you’re awesome and your work is valued, even tho I can’ t use your bond repair indications 🫠 Sending love from São Paulo 💕✨ your profesion is fire 🔥

I just got the new Dove intensive repair set and it's definitely more silkening than the previous formula. I think the previous formula relied more on emollients to soften the hair while the new one has lactic acid as the third ingredient and it also has proteins and the peptide featured in the bond strength line. So I guess it's like the "light" version of the bond strength? Overall I like it. I do wonder if the Lactic acid being so high up on the list has the same benefits as Citric acid.

Abbey, I don't know how you keep up with your hair routine. So I"m not surprised you're kinda sick of it. LOL. I wash my hair every other day with Redken shampoos and conditioner (alternating b/t 2 favs) and then apply just tiny amount of Redken bond repair leave in conditioner. no oil pretreatments, no hair masks...and my hair is doing pretty well. I have to wash my hair frequently because my workouts are very sweaty. No way I will use dry shampoo because it makes my hair feel like straw and sticky.

I like the L’Oréal Brow Lamination’s more refined delivery and formula better than the Maybelline super slick (which goes cloudy, globby, and flaky). Prefer Simple micellar water over Garnier. Re: Leave-in conditioner - I have fine, wavy hair that is about 30% gray (but dyed to a medium blonde). I blow dry and heat style a lot, and the Pantene Miracle Rescue leave-in works fabulously for me! Two leave-in conditioners I haven't heard you talk about that I love are the Wow Money Mist and the Kinky Curly Knot Today. Have you tried those ones? I wanted to like Pureology, but somehow it just doesn't work for me and makes my hair feel brittle and crunchy. Color Wow dream coat and the Dove bond serum mask are GOATs for me, too. Love your vids and hair advice!!
@michellec633610 сағат бұрын
Thank you for sharing this! I too have fine, wavy hair that's probably 30% gray. I've been wanting to improve my hair routine, but felt overwhelmed with where to start. I ordered Abby's recommendations for clarifying shampoo and leave in conditioner. But I wasn't sure what mask and/or bond repair to try. I love Color Wows mineral remover prior to shampoo, their Bombshell volumizer, and I tried the Dream coat last hair wash, but some sections of hair were still frizzy. So I'm thinking a bond repair may be a good idea. Any other fine hair recommendations you have I'd love to know. Thank You! 😊

totally off subject but i just purchased the l’oréal hair lamination gloss and i was wondering if it will have the same affect if i don’t use the l’oréal shampoo and conditioner with it but another brand. Thank you and love all your videos. Have learned so much to help with my damaged hair along the way.

I love your videos! I am curious if you have any thoughts on the endocrine disrupters ingredients in these products. Any thoughts? I am genuinely curious as I am becoming more aware of ingredients

Love your channel and you definitely do your homework on all the products. Can you please help me? What do I spray on my hair for 2nd day hair when using a curling iron? Everything I have says with damp hair.

Go see your own dermatologist for a full body skin exam and ask for an rx for tretinoin. Or just ask your primary care for an rx. It’s so much cheaper than these monthly prescriptions that rarely tell you the actual gram weight you’re getting. I pay less than $60 for a 45g tube and it lasts for about 6 months . And yes that is without insurance which doesn’t cover for cosmetic rx’s.

She isn't using Tretinoin anymore.

@ apostrophe is a tretinoin subscription. They have a few other prescription items but their main product is tretinoin. If a patient needs something for acne, and you’re insured,, your insurance will cover the cost for these inexpensive medications. My point is - These subscription programs are way overpriced and it’s far cheaper to go to your doctor.

I go through apres the most following your wash routine. I have been thinking about using it every other wash too. But your routine is game changing so if i have a million bottles of empty apres… ill do it❤ i get only 2.5 washes per bottle of apres.
