Loving these “Abbie visits” during this seemingly endless COVID-19 isolation. You are giving us so many gifts, just by being yourself! Sharing these walks with you is therapy! Thanks, kid! 🌞💚🦋

Watched my first video of yours about 5 weeks ago where you walked Haystacks and found the green sided shades on the way back down, then having liked Haystacks watched the Corridor route. Miss smiley was a joy to see. A week later and got the next edition of Country Walking and who was in it but your lovely self. I couldn't believe that you have had so much doubt and anxiety in your young life,. As a 60 year old bloke who just gets on with it, and truthfully, I don't have any such issues, I applaud you for being open about yours. Please keep safe and know that there are lots and lots of like minded folk out there who support you and love everything you do and share. Take care and hopefully I will come across you somewhere in the Lakes.PaulP.S. give those shades back!!

Great video Abbie. Listening to your feelings and views about spending time in the Lake District, well, I could have been listening to myself so I totally get what you are saying. Love that view from Hartstop up to Hart Crag - great views and that's only the start of the day. Agree that the view from Thornhow End well worth the little effort to get there. Great for a summers evening walk. I hope that you picked up some homemade caramel shortbread at the post office? I think that it is some of the best that you can get it the Lakes. Two weeks to go till my week in the Lakes!

Done this a few times but in the reverse. It's tough. The first time I was lucky as the trees you walk down through beneath hartsop above how were full of white flowers and there was a wonderful early evening sunlight.

Every time I see you on a hike and you reach a peak it's always the most beautiful land. I can't decide if it's Gondor or Rohan it reminds me of lol. I keep expecting you to point and say "and over there you can see Mordor"😂

Hi Abbie, another great walk and video, keep it up please. You said "for me, there's nothing calms me down as much as being in the mountains does" - my sentiments exactly and so wonderfully put. I'm off work with an ear infection at present and your video has really improved my state if mind. BTW, you missed out on two tops: Gale Crag, a Birkett lower down on the Hartsop above How ridge, and Hartsop above How itself, a Wainwright. I have this walk on my to-do list for this winter but in reverse and including Arnison Crag & Birks. Best Wishes.

Thanks Abbie for bringing back the memories of St. Sunday Crag on my own Coast to Coast journey (I saved my own illness - flu for me - until Danby Whiske : ( .. Still made it to Robin's Hood Bay though! : ). I loved the drop through the bluebells & woods on the descent from the summit to Patterdale, with Ullswater, the most beautiful valley in the Lake District?
@andrewullyott38115 жыл бұрын
Great video Abbie. Hartsop above How is somehow one of those places I’ve still got on my to-do list. I think it gets overlooked in favour of other routes. St Sunday Crag is my favourite Lakeland fell and I was so glad to climb it again last year on the C2C. It all looked lovely with the bluebells!
