Inspirational......I came across you're videos in lockdown when I was in a really dark place, and because of you I got myself out in the hills hiking ( first time ever ) and I've never looked back....just completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks for charity, next is 24 peaks in 24hrs in the lakes 👊 ive met a wonderful soul mate because you inspired me to get out of the house.....I don't know you, but thank you.....through your videos you have changed my life 😉.....never give up, keep being you x.....p.s stop making me cry 🤣

"There's so much life on the other side of fear." Love it Abbie. Nice to see Blencathra - climbed onto the edge of it a few weeks ago. The views around Threlkeld (we stayed above Keswick Golf Club) are just so good. Hiking anywhere in the countryside clears your head, but some places have special/different vibes.

I cried at how you felt in this video and how I feel all the time, you definitely hit the nail on the head, for me anyway at the way you feel, it rings so true, you're so very lucky to have a partner like you've got, you suit each other so much and I wish you both nothing but happiness. Keep strong and thanks for sharing how painful depression is, I'm actually thinking of going on a wild camp because of you. Love all your videos so far and I've now sat through hours of them, not 1 second have I wasted, they've been inspiring and you speak like a poet, you've definitely got the gift of the gab. Keep it up and be strong 💪 ✨️ 🙏

We’ve followed you on KZbin for years Abbie, we have seen you grow & learn from your experiences. You truly are an inspiration. We did a charity hike to Scafell pike for The Samaritans & raised quite a bit for them, that money will help save peoples lives & that really inspired us to do more.

Absolutely amazing Abbie! You and Anna have presented a spectacular, thought provoking and inspirational film. So much valuable content and honest words. Such important topics from saving our beautiful planet to the challenges of mental health and so much more. I, like many others also deal with mental health issues. You brought me to tears and I thank you from the bottom of my heart 💜

You tugged pretty hard at my heart on this one. I’m sure it’s strange to think of people who don’t know you being so affected, but we all feel the same feelings. You are strong and supported by Anna, your friends and a community you have built. Hike, bike and stand strong.

I'm only on 6 at the min, but we all start from 0. Thankyou for promoting the lake district (and other beautiful areas we are lucky to have in the uk) to the world

This series is brilliant in every way! We often ask, how can I make a difference, one individual in a world of billions? Each of us is like a pebble that drops into a large body of water, creating a wave into infinity. The world would not be the same if we did not exist; everyone matters!

Another beautifully filmed and thought provoking episode. Your point about our relationships with nature is central to the tackling of the climate and environmental crises. Many people are profoundly disconnected from the natural world. If we can change this, there remains some hope that humanity can save itself from looming catastrophe.

There has always been village idiots, Abbie (and Anna), and also bullies too. Sadly, the Internet has given these people a megaphone and the ability to join forces, so they're much louder and even more obnoxious than they used to be. At the end of the day, MOST people are still decent, kind and helpful. So, in the words of Ronnie Barker (from well before you were born), "Don't let the bastards grind you down!" I usually watch your videos with the sound off (and with subtitles on), using them with techno, trance and dance music for spinning. (Your walks have helped my training a lot - thank you!) Just occasionally, a video will grab my attention more than normal and I'll watch it again later, properly, sitting in an armchair and with the sound on. This was one of those, and I will watch it as you intended it to be watched later tonight. I often say that all of my problems are first world problems, and seeing you dealing with your mental health issues also brings it home to me how fortunate I've been to have avoided such things. Hang in there, both of you - and NEVER let the bastards grind you down, be they internet trolls or your internal demons. Greetings, and all best wishes, from Sweden.

Well, that was a first! I don’t think I recall hearing Abbie swear before! Not without just cause though and I’m not in the least offended being something of a past master myself (yes, I know it’s not big or clever, but sometimes ‘earthy’ language is a great release). I did wonder if, before the Honister climb if the anxiety could be channelled into aggression, and was delighted to see that it could be - sometimes when the pressure is on you just have to get fighting mad (paraphrasing Clint Eastwood there!)
