This is significantly more entertaining than the movie (and with a rather different story). Indeed, Abbott and Costello's work on radio and (especially) on television is far superior to their movies. The best part of the movie is the excellent performance of Joan Davis; also interesting is the distinctive "singing" style of Ted Lewis, who does several numbers.
