ABB Robotics - High Speed Packing of Frozen Fish

When family owned food processor Simplot looked to improve the Operational Health & Safety of its manual frozen fish packing operations in Australia it turned to ABB robots for the solution.
Systems integrator, A&RT installed a robotics pick and place system including 9 ABB FlexPicker robots which pack up to 900 pieces of frozen fish per minute. The 9th FlexPicker has been configured so that it can be also used as a Quality Assurance system rejecting any undersize pieces.
A&RT Systems are an ABB Authorised Value Provider and have extensive experience integrating the ABB FlexPicker robots into high-speed packaging lines.

It's pure cost savings to the company to produce lower cost products.

Use all sorts of chemicals, tenderisers, texture, smell and taste to sell a pieace of meat from a 100 year old cow, tough and tasteless, fiffed up with chemicals as if it was veal. The producers of farm good get pennies, the distribution cgan takes the biggest part. Greed
