And Abby is racist. She admitted her ignorance, said she apologised for her behaviour and how it impacted the girls ie. Nia/Cameron and others watching the show. She said she hoped to change and be a better person etc.. Cameron's mother said she doesn't accept the apology though because she had never apologised to her or her daughter personally. So just that behaviour/ignorant thinking alone.. Nia was overlooked from day 1. Let's not add in all of the additional negative treatment on top of that. Personally, I feel Nia has incredible strength, self respect and talent to deal with her treatment. I really admire her ability at as a young girl to young woman to mentally handle it all. She stood her ground with class, style and talent. Crazy respect for Nia!

Nia is such an inspiration. She not only never gave up through all those years, the pressure of the show, the abuse and sabotage from Abby, but just put her head down and kept working as hard as she could, despite rarely getting any glory. But in the end, her technique finally improved & paired with her great performance skills, she finally won at nationals. Who would have thought? To go through all that as a child and still come out so grounded and kind (who could ever forget her comforting Lily after she came second?), is just mind blowing. Holly is so grounded & obviously that contributed a lot to Nia developing a really strong mental constitution. I know she was never going to be a dancer who would be good enough for a dance career..but it doesn’t matter. She’s been on Broadway, a TV show and has her music. I mean not many people get a public tweet from Beyoncé! She’s a success because she’s happy, and she’s able to work in the performing arts. I’m so happy for her, she deserves every great opportunity that comes her way. She has more than earned it.

It really upsets me how abby (and the moms and girls sometimes) treated nia. Abby gave Nia horrible choreography that never showcased her full talent, sometimes they were set up to fail. Even this one. By the way, no one was ever happy for Nia whenever she got to do a concert or music video, or another big opportunity. I felt bad for Nia because she was actually a very good dancer but never got to have her talent showcased and was often the mistreated and underdog. She most definitely deserved better.
