I grew up in St. Louis and this really brought me back to my childhood. My dad passed away when I was 9 in 1999 but we visited Silver Dollar City several times before he passed. So many great memories. Thank you for helping me remember ♥️

My husband is from southeast of KC. His family took me to Branson for the first time 3 years ago during Christmas. We went to Silver Dollar City and it was freezing! It was teens or below, so the rides were closed. Such a fun place to go though, especially during Christmas. The lights are so fun!

Silver Dollar City is also like Dolly Wood in East TN. A really fun place!! And absolutely Beautiful!! You would definitely be able to explore some beautiful spots! My family and I do it a lot when we take a weekend trip. But, we use to live in that area. And, had Season passes and everything!

I ❤️ going to silver dollar city! We got passes this year! Last time we rode Mystic River Falls, we waited for 2 hours, and we're the next to go, then they shut the ride down! The people in front of us got fast passes, but we didn't! Love y'all!

I love SDC! That was my home park as a kid in northwest Arkansas! Sorry she was scared at Fire in the Hole! Used to get me too🤣It is the oldest "roller coaster" there and a true classic.

In Tennessee there used to be a Silver Dollar City, but now it renamed to DollyWood. There are definitely a lot of similarities!

I’m originally from Oregon but moved to Kansas after I got married. We go to Branson a lot as a family. First time I ever went to silver dollar city, I thought it was the most magical place ever! I love MI. The ozarks are so pretty. I’ll be going there in October to see the leaves change! Excited

We grew up with Knotts Berry Farm. I worked there during HS in the mid 70’s. It’s changed soooo much though. Lots of fast roller coasters and such. Not my favorite but next time your in Southern CA you should check it out. I think you’d like it.

I went to silver dollar city recently and it was sooooo fun. The ride that Abby is scared of, kind of scared me too because I had never been on it and I had no clue what was happening. Powder Keg is by far my favorite.

My family waited in line for the mystic river ride for 4 hours😳 it broke down twice while we were in line but we already wasted so much time that we didn’t want to get out of line. It was a super fun ride though!!

I was thinking the exact same thing! I did some research, and apparently what is Dollywood now was named Silver Dollar City, Tennessee around 1977! It was owned by the Herschend family after their original theme park which is the one Matt and Abby are at here. They are so similar!

This is nostalgic for me to watch. When I was a missionary kid we went there when my parents had missionary retreats in Springfield at the evangel College. We went there 2 different times in my life and seeing this brings back all the memories. My favorites were the water rafting ride and dying our candles in colored wax. 😁

I live in Tennessee and we also used to have a Silver Dollar City, but it got rebranded and is now Dollywood. It’s so weird seeing one in another state that looks identical to Dollywood! Even the creepy ride 😂😂
