Okay she literally said she wants to be with someone who is ready, Riley clearly fell for Abby so hard but still supported and was there for both her and Harper through the bullshit and the way in which the movie straight up wrote off Riley and dropped her off the face of earth yet showed basically a happily ever after for every single character just... I dont think I''ll ever get over how they wronged Riley in this movie. What Riley went through in highschool with Harper I went through in my first year of college and it really isnt a chill situation that can just be brushed off. Justice for Riley man she really deserves better. In my mind Abby realises that Riley is the one and she falls in love with her.

@@Pink-dc4qi this is a good question, there is one scene with Riley and Abby at the like event where Abby is on the balcony and Riley is down below like talking to other people there, in that scene Riley sort of gets the wind knocked out her in a sense where she loses her breathe when she looks at Abby and they lock eyes, another scene when they're at the drag bar and basically Riley tells Abby she deserves to be with someone who is like proud to be with her and the way she is acting towards Abby in that scene (forgive me I don't remember word for word that line) it's insinuated throughout the movie based on the interactions Riley has with Abby but I guess it really depends on how the viewer sees it. For example if you (or anyone else) watched the movie and didn't get those vibes at all from Riley, or the chemistry between them, that wouldn't be incorrect either tbh. There's no correct or incorrect way to percieve the situation I don't think especially since the ending they showed us Abby happy with Harper. But Aubrey plaza aswell in interviews for the movie did say similar about Riley's character. When asked about the fans/viewers response to her and kstew. Ultimately a lot of viewers did feel chemistry between and saw Riley did have this soft spot for Abby and was drawn to her. Idk been a few months since I watched it. Hope this helps

For all the people who says and comments about that, Abby and Riley should be the one ended up together. But I disagreed with that, here why. 1) They only know each other for about 2 to 3 days, to consider them a couple to end up together. 2) Abby don’t to see or have feelings for Riley in that way. 3) Abby wouldn’t just jump into someone, who is complete straighter that she meet a few ago. Just because Harper was not a honest partner. 4) Them ended up together wouldn’t make sense, to be with someone Abby hardly know about. So, I don’t think that Abby should be or need to end up with Riley. If anything, Abby should be single.

I totally agreed, whether if they have chemistry. Doesn’t mean that they are meant to be together, as you said that only know each other about a few days. All we know, that Riley could be bad as Harper. All we know, they stare a similar situation and problem. About Harper sort of treat them poorly, with Harper out it Riley is the one is gay. Probably be under pressure and sort of throwing Riley under bus, while Harper lie to Abby that she didn’t really come out to her family. Then she lie again, when she force to either come clear or not. (Which in my opinion, wasn’t she fault in that situation. Her eldest sister, outer her out for no reason at all.) Even though I don’t think Harper deserves Abby, I don’t think Riley would be the better choice. Sure Riley is it understanding person to Abby, we don’t really know much about her character other then. She was just another victim of Harper bad being partner, as how do we know that Riley could be bad as Harper.

It’s not even the fact that Harper wasn’t ready to come out yet, it’s the way she treated Abby. She ignored her for most of their Christmas together, and then went out with her high school boyfriend till 2 am and said that Abby was crowding her when she was clearly concerned. Her family put Abby through the ringer and clearly made her feel very uncomfortable and unwanted the whole time they stayed with them, but Harper didn’t even seem to care and only made it worse. And when Abby got angry with her for lying to her parents she says that Abby agreed to do this. Which isn’t really true, they were almost at her parents house after having planned the whole trip when Harper told Abby the truth. She made her lie and pretend to be someone she’s not, and it was clear that the only reason Abby agreed to it was because she felt so pushed to.
