Isn't it a blip! After all of the chaos that Olivia not to mention Ava put Bill through and Vanessa is so "civil" and classy.

Not even to mention what Olivia put Billy through. She set him up to start drinking again and stole his company too! But she made peace with the whole Lewis family. Olivia always seemed to make up with her friends, exes and enemies....Like Reva and Jeffrey and Phillip and Beth and Alan and Buzz and Frank and Rafe and Natalia obviously. The writers never made Olivia evil, just misunderstood sad and lonely. She was always a favorite of mine from San Cristobal in her very beginning. I'm glad they gave her a happy ending with the love of her life great friends and a family. I still miss Guiding Light which I watched with my late mom all my life. We even watched the last episode together. All these years later (lost her in 2017) I catch some reruns occasionally...brings back great memories. When it was cancelled it was almost like losing a member of my extended family. Some of the "Vintage Guiding Light Stories" are better than the ones they're writing on a couple of the shows still airing. 💗💥✨

Vanessa always had class I always liked her character. The storyline when Vanessa was sick and she in Matt communicated by computer and they didn’t know each other was there was a good storyline. Olivia caused her share of problems with her past partners but it seems that loving Natalia has softened her. Awesomely sweet story lines over and over again. The acting on GL was always terrific! I have followed GL since I was a teen more than 50 years ago.
