The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says ABC Managing Director David Anderson was a “hot mess” when he was grilled by the Senate about the Alice Springs report which breached the company’s own impartiality guidelines.
“That performance by David Anderson, who let's remind you is paid about $1 million a year, didn’t really seem to know what was going on under his watch,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“I think he was shown today that he’s not in control of what journalists and editorials are putting out on their platforms.”
