So if any of y'all may recall, I spent way too much money on a tape lot in hopes to finding a TAT logo.
That failed.
But hey, at least I can record the commercials.
These were recorded between 1975 and 1977. The shows were The Carol Burnett Show, The Bionic Woman, Charlie's Angels, and Carson's Tonight Show.
Oh and before I forget, the years are backwards. It goes from 1977 to 76 to 75. I know, it's weird.
Check back on my channel every once in a while, I'm uploading all the commercials that are on this lot. All 17 tapes.

The money I get from these videos helps me and the channel with more content for you people...oh wait I can't make money because Freedom unlinked me. pfft.

Yeah, me too. What I can't stand though is when KZbinrs allow KZbin to show ads on their channel. I sit here and hammer the reload button until they don't show up. Because modern ads are so horrible compared to great '70s ads.

I loved their Palmetto Farm pimento cheese spread and their Superbrand Banana Ice Cream. I looked up Winn Dixie in Jacksonville Florida and they no longer sell either Superbrand ir Palmetto Farm.

In that era, the NBC affiliate in Grand Forks, ND put advertising panels on screen during those More to Come intervals on the Tonight Show. Two panels that I remember were for Rydell Chevrolet (Home of the Little Profit) and for the ‘fabulous’ Westward Ho motel. Both advertisers were in Grand Forks. We saw all three network affiliates from the US on cable across the border in Manitoba.

I agree with Wolfman...same here! I remember these ads. I was age 11 during most of 1972. I lived in Kansas until I was 30, & I never saw any southern crunch chips there. We usually had bags of Lays or Guys chips. Lysol spray with gold color cap smelled good. Amazing that 60 Minutes is still one of the top 10 TV shows.

Born in 61 so I remember many of these commercials. We saw them on the Big Three American networks carried by the North Dakota affiliates we saw on cable in Manitoba. Seems like every American national spot back then, especially the ones for grocery products and cars, had an ultra-cheesy and relentlessly upbeat jingle in it.

1. Aired April 30, 1977 on WKRG-TV5, Mobile, Alabama WKRG-TV was started on September 5, 1955 by Mobile's famed architect and movie theatre owner, Kenneth R. Giddens, who named it in his honor. From 1958 to 1966, Giddens shared it with the Mobile Press-Register. Giddens died in 1993, and his heirs kept the station until 1998, when Spartan Communications got a hold of it. Media General did the same in 2000, and Nexstar followed that company in 2017. WKRG-TV was a CBS station from the beginning. 2. Recorded October 20, 1976 on KABC-TV7, Los Angeles, California One of the five original ABC owned-and-operated stations, all of them on channel 7, KABC-TV started life as KECA-TV, named after L.A. radio pioneer Earle C. Anthony. It changed to its present callsign February 1, 1954. For the 1984 Summer Olympics, KABC-TV became the first television station to broadcast in stereo. Like the other ABC O&Os and stations on channel 7, it uses the Circle 7 logo; KABC-TV's news anchors and reporters are the only ones left at the original ABC O&Os who still wear Circle 7 lapel pins. 3. Recorded at some point during 1977 on WOKR-TV13 Rochester, New York Channel 13 of Rochester, Inc. brought channel 13 to the air under the WOKR-TV callsign on September 15, 1962. Channel 13 of Rochester, Inc. had 11 partners; one of them, Flower City Television Corporation, bought full ownership of the station in March 1970; it was during the year WOKR's portion of the video was recorded that Flower City sold channel 13 to the Fox Cities-based Post Corporation. Hughes Broadcasting Partners bought the station in 1991 and Guy Gannett Communications did the same in 1995. Channel 13 was sold to the Ackerley Group in 1998; during the period (2002-07) in which it was owned by Clear Channel, channel 13 changed its callsign to the present WHAM-TV. Today, channel 13, an ABC affiliate from day one, is owned by Deerfield Media and operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group through a shared services agreement. 4. Recorded in March 1975 off of an NBC network feed.

@@franks.2544 Lol. But it's you people that hold the patent on creating victims, and the experts on the victim card. Your ancestors were the first victims of tyranny and oppression, when they fled their lands like bitches, instead of fighting on their own land for their rights. Then come over here, and apply that same oppression to others. Now what, Jon Snow?

Television truly sucked back then. We have so many more choices today, and the overall productions are much better.

@@luisreyes1963 Did you like "Me and the Chimp"? How about "Holmes and Yo-yo"? Perhaps "Co-ed Fever" or "Supertrain"? Maybe your taste ran more toward "Hello, Larry" or "The Ropers". Yes, those 70's shows were golden!

Spoken like a true millennial. 🙄 You wouldn't last five minutes without your phone or the Internet. Animators in the 70s actually DREW THINGS BY HAND and effects were practical; people got off their asses and actually MADE props. Networks had all their stars get together and make promos that invited you to watch and thanked you for doing so. People CARED. Today, they just jerk off technology. That's what truly sucks.
