Awesome skills honing workshop with the lovely Miss Kenzie, who alighted the room with her beautiful smile, perfect poise and greater workmanship. To me, she was the perfect pupil/student that anybody in a teaching capacity could ever do hope for. She hungrily accepted and did not despise your methods of fine tuning and perfecting what is already inside of her and needs to come out. I love it when young students remain teachable,receivable and pliable; not closing their minds off because of any type o perceived hurt or spurn of correction. The delivery vehicles are very much needed, if we intent to carry the structural integrity spurn of this great institution. Every current pupil and prospective student must keep this line of thought with them always in order that it may guide them to the destinations that have already been set aside and chosen for them from the beginning of time. Having such an outlook on life and qualities present will only "UP" their ballet game. I pray and hope that Kenzie had great opportuninty to show up and show out for all their American counterparts. Because sometimes even us American,s as athletes need a good humbling experience in order to guide us back unto the path we have wandered from and back on track, and not least of these: back to the basics. Ballet began as a dance in the courts, there is no knowledge as to who exactly started it. And then Catherine brought it to France. Later, King Henry founded the First ballet academy and he helped to set the positions, and the movement names.

As a teacher I always think of more spacing my my hips and to pull up in my quads. Using those muscles with take the strain off your knees because you're not "going back" in your knee socket.

I love your videos. I have a summer camp in a week from 9 to 5 over the course of three weeks and you're tips are helping me prepare so much! I want to thank you because I don't want to embarrass myself in front of many professional dancers that tour the US. I'm 17 and starting to really do partnering however my teachers just show me a step and expect me to be able to do it. If you could do a video on partnering tips it would be super helpful. I've learned that you have to look at your partner and pull up your weight. And we regularly don't have men at our studio to practice with. They arrive four days before the shows and it's really stressful for me because my studio is starting to focus on giving me these dances so any help or pointers would be extremely helpful. Thank you for your time.
