This is the mix ! Played on then Mix 99.9 FM in Toronto with dj Terry Michael's. She passed away about 3yrs ago in Florida. Terry played thee best & latest dance music played in the club's. I remember her show with great fondness , very rarely missed her Saturday night show. They had Don Daynord & his 50's & 60's music fr 7- 9 pm then came Terry & the great dance e.p's . The 1980's were a great time .

Top shelf pop is an apt description. When The Look of Love dropped in the early 80s I thought this band was special. The combination of thoughtful lyrics and British accents and funk instrumentation was infectious. I added The Look of Love to my supply of songs to play at my dorm dances without hesitation. When Poison Arrow dropped I KNEW this band was special ☝🏼 I added this song to my supply without hesitation.

I feel you. A 10 min version of Poison Arrow is the bees' knees 🙌 I thought these Brits were funkin' on The Look of Love. As soon as I heard Poison Arrow on their album I knew I was going to play it at my dorm dances. I played it before the local pop radio stations played it because I knew it was going to be a hit. I wish this version existed in the early 80s.
