I’m 55 as well and couldn’t agree more. The 80’s decade was a blast. I live there daily in my mind, haha. Still watch the shows and movies from then. Every time is like the first. The comedy and style was like no other. Where’s that “Time Machine?”

Yes. I’ve actually had girlfriends and family members still give me gifts from ‘83. The Littles was a decent adaptation, but honestly, if you were still watching cartoons that late on a Saturday afternoon, your day was shot.

Yeah I remember those good old Saturday’s mornings especially in September. That’s when the new cartoons would premiere. The funny thing about I hated to get up early in the morning for school but on Saturday morning. I would be up 7 in the morning with no problem.

I was born in 1983. I do like to reminess on the older cartoons, but even at 41, I still enjoy watching some of the newer ones. I try to keep an open mind and look forward to new things because I told myself years ago that I don't want to be one of those older people who always complain about things "not being as good as it used to be."

Thanks again for sharing those wonderful Saturday Morning memories! I was rarely able to watch the ABC lineup because it was the one of the 3 big channels where the reception was either a little snowy or completely unwatchable. I did get to watch it sometimes and have to admit I preferred the NBC and CBS lineup around this time.
