Regarding the teen who was holding a fake gun and whose parents are demanding answers, why was he walking the streets with a fake gun? That’s the question that should be asked and answered. Police were called because a caller reported teen was pointing it. Stop blaming the police for responding to what could have been another cop or civilian being shot. The reason there is so much crime is a result of this cuddle approach to bad behavior. Do stupid things and consequences will follow.

To the mother of the teen brandishing a gun aiming at the homes of people...that later turned out to be a fake. Instead of blaming the police for 'targeting' your black children'....maybe YOU should take accountability for not being a good parent. Try parenting your children if they mean so much to you. It certainly isn't teaching him about accepting the consequences of his actions when the mother's first thought is to make money from a lawsuit. IMO as a parent, she should be telling him that he's going to have to accept the fallout from him pointing a gun at homes and threatening to shoot. None of those people should have been subjected to that kind of fear. They had no way of knowing the gun...this time....was a fake.

I don't think that's the issue. The issue is that they pulled the trigger too fast. Remember Tamir Rice? They shot that child before even stopping the car. He was 12, black and outside playing with a toy gun. They hadn't even stopped the car when they shot him and then the cop that pulled the trigger bragged about it on social media. He still has a job. Too many times cops pull the trigger when they don't have to. That's the issue. It all adds up.

Yes, and this is the way Pharma is pushing to put immunotherapy treatment for cancer up front and chemotherapy on the back burner. Even when chemotherapy does not work on a cancer patient and second line is immunotherapy insurance will fight it to nail and tooth to NOT cover the new treatment immunotherapy. Insurance companies are pissed off they feel COVID reap them off their earnings when they had to pay $$$$ for many years. So this is a war between Pharma and insurance industry and people are the little child getting hit with the worse when the parents are fighting.
