Totally agree, judges should be 'like Caesar's wife', above reproach. Those caught behaving with disgraceful unprofessionalism like ERIN OTIS should be made an example of, banned from working in law again, and sent to jail. Make an example of them! They 'regret' they were caught, and that is all! The hypocrisy of these immoral, entitled scumbags is off the chart. I have to wonder WHY ERIN OTIS was quite so friendly with some young male defendants (never female ones, apparently). A birthday party for one young man's son, and she listened to and praised the CD of another ... Hmmm, call me cynical, but she sure doesn't sound like the warm and fuzzy, charitable type to me. Could there be more to her 'interest' in these young men, I wonder? There could be further, even more dramatic chapters to this story methinks!

They clearly ignored genuine concerns, consistently, and continue to hide behind a shroud of secrecy that they seem to imagine they are owed. Subscribed - will all notifications on. I want to see this whole investigation. Just showed my wife. We’re going to show it to her mom tomorrow. Her mom is a paralegal and is in to true crime. I *know* she’ll find this investigation really interesting as she’s dealt with this type of stuff in the past. She told me a bunch of stories of judges doing similar stuff to this. Worse, in her stories the public defenders were in on it to. Which she said is a huge no no because they shouldn’t be so chummy with the court when they’re defending their clients. I did security for Walmart for 13 years and I’ve been a part of over 200 court cases during that time. Because we prosecuted thieves. I got to become really close with a lot of the regular public defenders, the lawyers defending the client that I am currently charging on the half of Walmart. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve talked with them before a case started and they would joke about how guilty their client is and tell me about what their defense strategy is going to be a.k.a. how they were going to plead guilty and what sentences they were going to ask the judge for and so on. Which I always knew was wrong but I’m just a Walmart associate what was I supposed to do? I always think to myself how terrible it would be if I was ever charged with theft. Especially if I was innocent. Because the defense attorneys usually always support the court and especially people like me, security guards for retail stores This type of unprofessional behavior is rampant in US court rooms. It’s everywhere. And it’s been like that for at least the 13 years I’ve been a part of it across Maryland from Frederick Maryland to Baltimore Maryland court houses

Right, fire the person with virtually no authority in the courtroom, do nothing about the one who was in charge

The lady did the right thing by reporting the judge. Image your son or daughter's freedom on the line and this lady clouded with memes and crushing on inmates? Sure she isn't a Correctional officer lol

Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention. Unfortunately there's a lot of this I think that goes on. Special treatment for those in power needs to stop.

It takes an insider to bring awareness to these corrupt courts! I tried to file complaints about unfair treatment and partiality in Cochise and Maricopa counties, in the state of Arizona, many times between 2015-2019. But, I was just a defendant in one instance and the spouse of a whistleblower, in another. The only result I got was a transfer of the deputy clerk (Benson Arizona) to another location, within the same county. After having to go through many legal procedures in the state of Arizona, we came to realize just how corrupt the judicial system is there. Sadly, in spite of all the environmental beauty of that state, the way it’s governed, caused us to leave and we will never go back.

My original point is based more on personal experience within Arizona’s state court system. I could give a crazy personal account, but, I don’t care that much… anymore.

Keep going sir, we cannot have a government unaccounted for by the public they are meant to serve.

I understand and agree with 99% of this, but the birthday party for the 3 year old whose dad was going away really doesn’t seem like that’s a huge deal. If anything I think it demonstrates a bit of humanity from a judge, also seems like a rehabilitation motivator, remind that guy he has something to come home to, so. He needs to behave in prison.

The problem ..if you do it for one defendant, you have to do it for everyone. Not to mention, it was said she "had a crush" on this particular defendant.

Agreed. It was a kindness to a small child.

Yeah I think they should've focused more on other aspects of how they were "crushing" on that defendant. Lots of people are going to have too much sympathy for the 3 year old to understand why it's an issue.

@@random_thoughts5343 that makes sense, and I must have missed the crush part because that does change the narrative a bit. Have a nice day!

I've been watching a lot of vids on law enforcement corruption. From judges to cops in the field and I can tell you from everything I've seen, AZ is the worst of the worst when it comes to corruption. Not a chance in hell I'd live in there. Hell, I'd even be afraid to drive-thru there for fear of civil forfeiture that runs ramped in that state.

You are getting the wrong information from somewhere. Arizona is a safe place to live and work. I have lived in Arizona almost all of my life and worked for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for 20 years, but then again, you seem to have an automatic bad opinion of all law enforcement officers. You listen to videos which tell lies and you believe it to be the truth!!!
