This isn't exactly a Div 1 program. Vast majority of these students are too old to play sports on the taxpayer dime.

Probably not enough. That’s what the Fed is finding out as they’re trying to review their own budgets, as the President has complained that it can’t possibly be as small as agencies are reporting. It’s a pittance. So here’s a thought: why are you buying what the oligarch network is selling you?

In that SSU athletics is not going to get corporate donations or sell tickets, do you suggest the taxpayers pay for all those full time coaches? Or non-athlete students through their student fees? It will cost each student $900 in fees each year to generate the SSU athletic budget of $3.7 million. Would you pay that? That's what I THOUGHT!

@@theWZZA You can still have sports, like intramurals and club sports, that don't cost a fortune and that more people can participate in. Intercollegiate sports costs a fortune and SSU generates next to nil money or exposure from it.
