@Klaa2 I think they did not beat or lay a hand in him, his autopsy report didn't show signs of beating. It is really heartbreaking though. really inhuman...

There is no evidence of physical torture. The coroner who examined Otto's body in Cincinnati said "We believe that for somebody who had been bedridden for more than a year, that his body was in excellent condition, that his skin was in excellent condition." They found no signs of physical torture even though they specifically looked for it.

I had Dennis Rodman on a flight a few years after he retired. He had a reputation for being EXTREMELY difficult in airport security and at the gate. He was demanding, rude and made our boarding process hazardous by sticking his legs out into the 1st class aisle as passengers were trying to walk passed him in order to get to their seats. He harassed the flight crew for more alcohol during pre-departure and had a poor attitude when it came to basic safety regulations. We had to stop the aircraft twice on the tarmac when he 1st refused to end his cell phone call as the safety demonstration was taking place and then again when he chose to get up to use the toilet while on an active taxiway. When he was told he was delaying all the passengers with his noncompliance, he replied “F*ck You and everyone else on this plane!” I can’t say I’m surprised to see he is friends with that disgusting NK tyrant.

"When you are in another country, your obligated to follow their rules, regulations and guidelines and if you don't, it's not a guarantee that the U.S. is going to get involved with that countries laws." It's plain and simple. As far as Rodman. I don't think it's his fault that NK does want they do, or that Otto experienced what he experienced. I'm not going to speculate why Kim is friends with Rodman. But, I will say that I pray that Otto's family has peace and that whatever Rodman is trying to accomplish it's for the good of this country and the world.

@ParadiseBae4 жыл бұрын
Sure, he went on the 5th floor and he shouldn’t have, but he wasn’t the only one either. They did not have PROOF that it was him “stealing” the poster. The video was blurry, shitty, and in b&w, it could literally have been ANYBODY. No face no case! They just used their prejudices and their dictatorship to punish an American without really investigating who else possibly could’ve done it. So what you mentioned about following another county’s rules/regulations in this case, for the most part, is irrelevant.

+Sam Aviles No, they don't, especially if they live in middle class to affluent neighborhoods. They live in a bubble of protection that shields them from the rest of the world. They take for granted the freedom they have. Look at how so many people in the USA have a positive view of Socialism and Communism. Look at how so many of them cheered when Bernie Sanders announced that he wanted a "redistribution of wealth". They don't understand that rising wannabe-dictators usually mask themselves with nice-sounding programs. It happened in Russia, it happened in China, it happened in North Korea, it happened in Cambodia (read Pin Yathay's story), it happened in Venezuela, Brazil and so many other countries. And yet, despite such examples, US citizens who are so enclosed in their bubble of security want to experiment with Socialism. They don't appreciate or understand the freedom and prosperity they have.

If you go to North Korea you should know everything you shouldn't do over there, but removing or trying to steal a poster of their party or leader? Sad he died but can you feel really bad for a person that jumped into a cage full of bears knowing full well what could happen? And the fact Rodman is trying to say he played a part of this is bullshit and he's just trying to get more time in the spotlight. I've been to North Korea for 2 weeks and did my research before I went, I listened to their rules and had a fun time besides not being able to go places you wanted or talk to locals like you wanted, but at the end of the day I got to see something most people don't in person and had no harm to myself, I even paid respect to the statues of their leaders and watched as people did so as well but could tell most of them weren't happy and looked trapped. But I kept it to myself in my head until after I got back stateside and never once brought up any bad words or political sides while there. Food was good and seeing the stores that foreigners and diplomats are allowed in was interesting vs what the local markets looked like, you could tell they tried putting on a front to make everything look better then it was
