It takes a strong man to openly talk about being sexually assaulted.
@rovers1417 жыл бұрын
Why exactly? Maybe to overly prideful men, but it's really not that big of a deal to admit you've been groped by another man. It's happened to me before, the only difference is it wasn't by someone with a lot of influence. There were no witnesses so it was pointless threatening legal action so I looked at him straight in the eye and told him if he does it again he's gonna get hurt. He had a nervous look at that point and walked away. I have no problem at all telling anyone that happened to me because it's not like I asked to be groped. People have to understand that you shouldn't be embarrassed by what other people have done to you, it's entirely out of your control.

rovers141 There’s a huge social stigma for men to openly talk about being sexually assaulted. To do so as a person who lives in the public eye, that stigma is even worse. Even if sexual abuse happened when they were defenseless children, it’s still taboo for adult men to openly talk about it. It’s not a coincidence there are far more celebrity women who talk about being sexually abused as children than there are celebrity men who have. Despite these men have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, it’s still considered an affront to their masculinity that’s held against them. Men who were sexually assaulted are more likely to be mocked than have any compassion extended to them. Women face terrible difficulty coming forward regarding sexual assault that happened to them. In this particular setting, that difficulty is greater for men.

@Yogi Breeze what is it then? If what that evil bastard did to him ain't sexual assault then what is it? What, it's called sugarsaulting ?
@elyzabeth19804 жыл бұрын
Yogi Breeze why? Because he is a man? If that guy grabbed a woman in her genitals it would be considered sexual assault. You don’t have the right to claim he was not sexually assaulted, it wasn’t your body. I take sexual assault very seriously, I do not agree when people claim it for the wrong reasons AT ALL, but this man was touched inappropriately without consent. I’m glad he spoke up, think about it- If this Hollywood executive was so brazen to do this in front of other people, can you imagine what he’s doing behind closed doors?
@elyzabeth19804 жыл бұрын
Yogi Breeze I’m absolutely not deeply in entranced in a certain viewpoint, as a matter of fact I am more the latter, curious if certain claims are actually valid or not. I WAS molested as a child so it frustrates me to no end when people claim they were sexually assaulted when their claims are not warranted or true. That being said If someone came up and punched you in the face, there would be no claims of sexual assault, it would be assault. When your privates are touched, that is when the “sexual “ part typically comes in. The law generally agrees with that as described by the definition of sexual assault (groping, rape, etc.) though at times can be considered assault, that will be the courts decision.. Either way, we are all entitled to our views, nor do I expect to change yours. I’m glad this guy stood up, as I mentioned before- anyone who could do this in front of others, I can only imagine what he is capable of doing behind closed doors.

Christian Warrior tv exactly there’s definitely a double standard to when it comes to sexual assault. I seen a video on Facebook where a dude was forcefully taken by a woman on a subway and everybody on the subway just sat down like nothing was going on and seeing the comments of people laughing at what happened. They even called him soft and that he deserved it. I was immediately disgusted

It is absolutely absurd how someone in a prestigious position thinks they can get away with practically anything. I've always loved Terry Crews, but now I admire and respect him and love him even more for speaking up for himself.
@GameChanger5972 жыл бұрын
Exactly my thoughts!! They always get away with it bc of their prestige, control, and money which all lead to power. People also are afraid to come against them bc they value their career more than their dignity and human rights and also bc it's so uncomfortable and shocking that most don't have the bravery or awareness to push back. Don't forget how many decades Harvey Weinstein literally raped and assaulted women until he was finally charged and prosecuted because too many women were afraid to expose him for fear of humiliation of not being believed and fear of losing their career. It took someone from another country who was unaware of the stigma of pointing the finger at a Hollywood elitist to finally take him down.. I'm still amazed by the fact he even made it to jail. I'm really proud of TCrews and I agree that him outing this guy makes me like and respect him even more! Battle them at the root ✊

Go on any f*ck app and you'll see the true side of what gay men think and treat each other. Black men are only good for their dicks... don't even be Asian or overweight. I honestly and truly feel just fine and safe in the suburbs being a normal gay dude in straight society. That heard mentality just creates men that grab dicks

Yes, absolutely. People wielding influence have also realized how far they get by stating PC-appropriate values whether or not they actually live them. It's a very cynical attitude, and it is unfortunately present all over the map in society today. There seems to be a constant split in what gets voiced and what is done through action. In my own life I run into people all the time who voice Bernie social justice but who use the call for social justice to forward blatant injustice, and relish inflicting it. Alternately, libertarians will cry for a return to constitutional values while acting in complete disregard for others' civil rights. "You have to have honor." Also well said.

And April, I'm going to change the subject here. I think many black people are under attack in the Entertainment Industry. Many blacks have been strongly against homosexuality and it seems that Luciferians that control the entertainment industry are trying to push blacks to accept this. For the many guys who don't believe in sexual assault, they need to see this. Most always dismiss women's claims and say they should just be flattered. It is not till you see this happening to you that you understand what women go through frequently. I always thought it would be flattering if a girl approached me "sexually" cause I (and most men) find the majority of women beautiful, but one day an overweight woman came up to be and grabbed my ass and I almost punched her. Now I understand what women go through and most women don't find the majority of men attractive and also, men and women should also know that guys can have this happen to them. Of all the muscles on Terry's body, the biggest strength he showed that day was in remaining calm and not resorting to violence. This is what being a MAN is about guys, and this is why having a good woman by your side is important. Terry Crews sets an example that all men should follow.
@shazam85727 жыл бұрын
Nobody's saying there's never a time one has to resort to violence. The point is it's not worth it if you can handle it without violence and avoid a bigger problem. It has nothing to do with what the creep who assaulted him deserved. That creep is now on his way to losing his career and facing criminal charges. If Terry had unloaded on him, the guy would be in the hospital, Terry would be facing legal problems of his own, and the initial assault that caused it all would be obscured. Thankfully he had a good woman by his side that day to keep him in check.
@TheLastInferno7 жыл бұрын
Sam Lewis Your comment is bullshit; the only lesson Adam would ave learned is to not prey on muscle. Shazam is absolutely correct. The route Mr. Crews chose to handle it is much much better than any other violent route he could have chose. Literally a clear example of wisdom versus impulse.
@thebrazilianatlantis1657 жыл бұрын
One issue is that even though violence sometimes get practical results, choosing not to be a violent man is a choice we can make (like a choice to not cheat, or not drink, or whatever, ultimately the only person who decides on any of these is yourself). @@Jorr235 Those aren't Christians many Catholics aren't Christians either, you cannot be a Christian without the Holy Spirit, you liberals talk ignorantly about God because you neither know Him or understand His ways, not everybody who professes to be a Christian is saved, sometime when you have an hour to spare watch Charles Stanley's sermon on controlling our thoughts he will make it clear to where even a dem could understand problem is you liberals are unrepentant so you're given over to strong delusions that you believe lies, satan has liberal minded people blinded that you rather serve the enemy because you're in love with the world and concerned with gratifying the flesh that you actually think Biden is good for the country when he is being told what to do

Terry & his wife are ok with homosexual stuff for a job..... A real man would have fought him for grabbing their penis... A loving wife wouldn't have stood for that. His wife would probably let a woman touch her vagina for money. DISGUSTING!!! Not a real man.

People are missing the point. Hollywood is not the problem. Sexual assault happens everywhere where there is people in very powerful positions. The only reason we hear about celebrities getting sexually assaulted is because they have a platform where they can share their stories, but there are millions of survivors who don’t have that privilege:( the problem lies in the way we, as a society, treat powerful people. We need to hold everyone accountable for disgusting acts such as this.

Hollywood does have a huge sexual abuse problem, much bigger compared to other industries, big enough that being assaulted is something to be expected as an actor.

I feel validated as woman knowing Terry is speaking out. I admire Terry Crews a lot because i've been through situations with creepy men like that. It makes you feel disturbed and powerless because they do it so openly. That is really how sexual predators are and it is a terrifying situation to be in. Even as a little girl people were so damn creepy towards me. I just cannot understand how someone can be so disgusting towards another human being.
@rebeccahopkins95222 жыл бұрын
It’s a sickness of the mind and spirit, a manifestation of a kind of predatory evil that can reside in some human beings. I am survivor of childhood incest molestation, sexual assault as a young teen, horrible domestic violence in my first marriage by an alcoholic crackhead I was married off to at only 16, and I survived and escaped from a cult my mother forced me to live in as a kid; the atrocities of which I cannot write about on KZbin. As a result, I dedicated my life to protecting the innocent and vulnerable (I’m a licensed clinical social worker and have spent my career working in the field of developmental disabilities), learning to identify and uncover the nature of evil in mankind, the psychology of a perversely sick mind, the pathology of predatory compulsion. What I’ve learned is, some people are just fckng perversely evil, whether by nature or nurture or both; and there really is no understanding them, there really is no cure for them. Their’s is a psychopathy that cannot be fixed, and more than 99% will reoffend. The only thing we can do is contain them and remove them from society so they cannot continue to harm others and take more victims. Oh yeah, those sick SOB’s should really all be castrated too IMO🤷🏼♀️and that’s a personal opinion not a professional one 😂

It happens to "big" men as well. I'm 6'6 220+ pounds and I've had other men try to make advances to me by groping etc. I almost went to jail for defending myself from a guy trying to grope me at my old job. No one believed me until they saw the footage a year later
