Lenard Reis that could explain it...the whole cast has been eerily silent throughout this whole crisis. seems like they'd have rushed to his defense and insisted on what a great a guy he is by now, but not one has, which i find telling. i do wonder how tv land's yanking of cosby show reruns has affected their residuals. i think a couple of much smaller outlets still feature the show in syndication....but the cast's bank accounts have surely shrunken to a significant degree as a result of tv land's decision (like the unfortunate cast of 7th heaven, they ALL suffer because of ONE man's criminal behavior...)

I was thinking that too. Like did he ever try something with the cast of the Cosby Show, they had some pretty women on that show, and some that made guest appearances. I don't think he did tho, he wasn't gonna jeopardize his rep. on that show. I feel sorry for the other cast mates on that show, bcuz they've taken it off the air in alot of markets and they're not getting those residual checks now. Bill can afford not getting those checks, but someone like ''Sandra'' can't, she hasn't been on T.V. since those Cosby days.

What does the color of Cosby's skin have to do with Johnson speaking out about the assault? He doesn't represent every single black man in the US. This is about one man, Cosby, and his actions. Also, does anyone else remember around 2006/2007 Tempest Bledsoe speaking out about Cosby sexually assaulting her when she was a teen??? All of the sudden that story went away and Bledsoe hasn't said a word about Cosby since then.

Since his death a couple of assholes have come forward to try and get some of that money the Estate has made (almost a billion since his death). Where in the fuck did you get "24 accusers"? The question with Michael was always "where are all the other kids he was around through those years". Two accusers in 10 years, both with greedy, crazy parents. Do your research.

These women allowed other women to be visciously drugged & raped by this psychopath. They didn't care about potential young female victims, they cared only for their money & career. just saw Beverly J. on "The View", who reported feeling very drugged after taking two sips of laced cappuccino. She was able to describe everything that happened after the 2 sips, even the way she positioned her head, to getting in and out the cab, but says she doesn't remember if she was raped. Um, if she were raped, it would have happened between the 2nd. sip and being put into the cab. This event would have happened within the time frame of her remembrance as she reported. Right? Even more so, women would know if they were sexually tampered with, or had sex by the visual signs and feelings on their bottoms. The other thought I have is; if this drug is so effective after taking 2 sips mixed in cappuccino, then how is it that the other victims are still alive after drinking a full cocktail and beer, or 2 glasses of wine with this drug? Maybe he did, or maybe he didn't. I just hope this is not another Michael Jackson case, where people take him apart bit by bit, causing him inconceivable stress and torture to the point he won't be able to sleep, and you know the rest of that story.

Like I said before, maybe he did or maybe he didn't. It's just that the stories need to be more convincing. I still don't understand why he would need to drug anyone to score. He's Bill Cosby, loaded with fame and fortune, and not bad to look at. He could have swooned my grandmother if he told her what ever she needed to hear, and she's dead (RIP grandmother). Perhaps there's a dark side to him that turns him on to corpse like women. But, where's the fun in that? I'm just saying, people like some kind of response. I think :-/

KetoBabe I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Just tragic. I have a similar story. One of my dearest friends was viciously raped by a random motorist while hitch-hiking alone (i'd begged her not to) when we were attending high school in France. Her attacker had a knife and threatened to kill her repeatedly throughout the assault. She was 17; she told ONLY me -no family members or other friends, not even the man she would go on to marry years later. She refused to file a police report or go to counselling, and kept it bottled up for years. A brilliant PhD scientist who graduated from a top university, she eventually had a complete breakdown at 32 and lost everything: her husband, her job, her friends (except me.), etc. She now has such severe PTSD that she's delusional, with symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia. She is homeless and panhandles across the country. It's one of the saddest things i've ever seen. I'm powerless to help, and i've tried, HARD. People simply don't grasp how devastating and long-lasting the effects of rape can be for many victims. I'm glad someone else besides me 'gets' that. Peace to you, too !

How could she not know? I'm not a woman but can't you guys tell?
@dloverise9 жыл бұрын
Will Johnson Have you ever been anaesthetised before? Date rape drugs completely paralyse you -- with a high enough dosage, they can render you unconscious. If someone decides to have sex with you during this time it is quite possible you could not know. In all of the other cases where the women were given drugs, they remember being raped. What makes Beverly Johnson's story even MORE credible, is that she isn't simply jumping on the band wagon saying 'yes, I was raped as well', but recounting the story as she remembered it. She says 'Í don't know' presumably because she was in and out of consciousness and there are, in all probability patches that she can't remember. In other interviews she has said Í do to think I was'.
@willjohnson1589 жыл бұрын
But she gives an account of what happened by the minute. She gives no account of time periods in which she was one place and then the next with no remembrance of what happened in between, If she remembers all of the time periods then how could she not know whether or not she was raped? Did he take off her clothes and later re dress her? she stated that he gave her a drink, she got woozy and cursed him and struggled with him, he got mad and dragged her sorn the stairs and flagged a cab. This is one event after the next. Then she says he may have raped her. Think about it does it make an ssense?
@skyrock1008 жыл бұрын

I FIND IT ODD TO GO TO ANYONE'S HOME TO DISCUSS A PART IN A SHOW, PLAY AND MOVIE; WHY DIDN'T THESE WOMEN THINK THIS? AND THE DRUNKEN CHARACTER SEEMS PECULIAR CONSIDERING IT'S A FAMILY SHOW. BUT BELIEVABLE DUE TO HER GETTING DIZZY AFTER HE HAD GIVEN HER A DRINK- SIMILARITIES IN ROLE SHE NEEDED TO PLAY. HE IS A SAD INDIVIDUAL. THIS CLAIM THAT BILL IS HATED IN HOLLYWOOD& SET UP IS A LAME ATTEMPT TO DISMISS THE TRUTH. WHO WOULD FIND SO MANY WOMEN WHO CROSSED HIS PATH IN A 50 YEAR SPAN, TO ONLY ASK THEM TO LIE TO BRING HIM DOWN? PREPOSTEROUS! SOME OF THE LADIES MAY HAVE BEEN WILLING PARTICIPANTS, BUT I BELIEVE THERE ARE NUMEROUS WHOM WERE DRUGGED. MANY CRIMES ARE NOT REPORTED; IT'S BEEN SAID SO MANY TIMES ON TRUE CRIME SHOWS THAT "RAPE" IS A CRIME THAT GOES UNREPORTED ALOT DUE TO FEAR AND SUSPECT RETURNING TO COMMIT IT AGAIN OR WORSE. EASY TO JUDGE BUT IF THE SHOE ISN'T ON YOUR FOOT, THEN YOU CAN'T SAY WHAT YOU'D DO OR NOT DO. I SPEAK FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE- IF CULPRIT IS POPULAR AND/OR FAMOUS/WELL KNOWN, HE/SHE WILL LIE ON YOU AND COMMIT HEINOUS CRIMES ASSUMING YOU WON'T TELL, DISPUTE THE ALLEGATION OR LIE ON YOU HOPING PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR" SO-CALLED NOTORIETY. " WHY WOULD HE RAPE HER- WHEN HE CAN GET ANY GIRL/WOMAN HE WANTS"? HOW MANY TIMES HAVE THOSE WORDS BEEN MUTTERED BY NAYSAYERS? ALOT!!!!

What??! Wait a frikken Minute.....all these women claimed they were drugged and yet they remember what happened?? Once a person is drugged they wouldn't know they've been drugged because the drug would make a person docile and unable to resist or register AND you won't remember shit....their stories don't make sense???????

Two sips and you felt druged? Everyone does know that most oral medications take 30min to an hour to start working. It should be the same for what ever she thought he gave her. @ABC News, you are slacking.

I heard a lot from NYC cab drivers over the years. One told me about Cosby and Bonet and was disgusted. No way to substantiate this, however.

Astral Flux I was in NYC for 17 years and asked a lot, heard a lot. Who knows? I talk to taxi drivers in London and Paris, too. Wow, do I ever get the skinny! It's often hugely useful with regard to real estate, business, the economy, politics, et c. They see and hear a lot!

That's a shame. Take it for which ever side you want but its just a shame that being quiet is the norm. Silence helps no one and I feel bad for anyone suffering through it now.
