SomeRandom trump looks like sloppiest worker in the world with how his hair looks, all crunched up and looks as if it was accidentally thrown on the ground, but worn without washing it, though he gets to be president with it, *sigh* Obama! Stop this madness, save our earth! Think of the children! were subjected to the lower, middle, upper class with jobs that can estimate 20 thousand dollars average to 70 thousand dollars a year, though 70,000 dollars go to the professionals, the upper class like surgeons, and weather forecasters, look at us though, Americans vs Asia....... I don't want competition, I want to love, I want to team, feel right with everyone, but Donald trump as president though, I don't even know, each new day feels like a motionless abyss for my feelings to float around and never drift upward or downward as the earth is ATM plain and simple, back then it used to be war filled and an endless nightmare of fighting, now that the earths got more control then ever on its humans, where to go now? Where do we go next? Who will lead us through the class rank jobs, and find us better then the terms lower, middle, upper class, what if there's finally automated class, meaning the average job worker now doesn't need to worry about a job anymore as that's futile and outdated for humans, when will these robots hit? When will they leave me to lay in bed and watch tv, with the robots vacuuming, giving me precisely timed meals like snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner? At the moment since we have no robots, the humans tried to dump the food down my pants, that's not professional, save us!!!!

A place to work, and not worrying where you’re gonna sleep or get a meal. They get paid minimum wage (for their country) Which is why for most of them being 17,18 years old is not the worse situation for them.

You misinterpreted what he said, He said "they come from the country side for the hopes of making at least 2 dollars an hour" he didn't say that's what their earning, second, if you actually watched the video he did mention how people have left their families to work for Foxcon because where they lived had worse jobs. The people left their homes to find better jobs and earn better pay. Realize how much more our currency is worth over what Asian countries are making.

Young kids, 12 or 13 working at Standard Oil (like Apple, the richest and probably the most powerful company of its time) for just a few cents a day. They would work 12-14 hour shifts and work in dangerous conditions. I'm saying whether its right or wrong, but to me, its just part of a developing nation.

Foxconn is not Apple, it is a different company in different continent who is driven by different roles and right considering to working method. Usualy, people who are working at big companies on the assemble line, cannot afford their product I think. This video says, most of the workers come from poor villages. In most of the Europen countries (where I am from as well) the problem is, the unemployment rate is very high..Taking this as an objective, they can be still happy, they have their Work! And lastly I aggree with on of the comments written below...If the Apple Inc products were produced in the USA, the most of us could not afford it at all!

Divya Sai Of course they pay less than the US minimum wage in China. So, does EVERYONE ELSE. Otherwise, they would have the factories in the USA.

I don't care if my smartphone company would be as rich or as popular as Iphone.. As long as it serves the costumers well, innovative, good quality and treat my workers right.. I would be happy with that and I want for my shareholders to be the same.. I just want to continue the Legacy of left by Henry Ford.. "If your employees can't afford even the cheapest product they made, you had a terrible business"

kay9x me too I hate it . World need to change condition for these workers . I’m living in Chongqing ring now but in my country of origin France we have same conditions , it’s everywhere in every single country it’s same . One thing we need is to make this job more pleasant for employees , with more rest and attention to them , and salary

Funny how these news station always tie foxconn to Apple... Ignoring Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, and every other single damn tech company that signs assembly contracts with foxconn....

Anyone see how the camera man broke that guys ankles at the end. 😂
For those wondering, the average person in China brings home about 8000 USD a year. Foxconn pays them about 2.50 - 3.00. So if they work a typical 8 hours a day. If they work Monday through Friday, yearly they’ll bring 4000 a year. The fact that a lot of younger people are employed in a place like this shows that this is almost to be considered an entry level job. Kinda like McDonald’s here in the US. Only difference is that as opposed to fast food. This trade is more valuable
