This man changed my childhood. We were locked up like prisoners every night - our mother was terrified. Booby traps all over our house. We slept in our mothers room. She bought a waterbed and put 2 x 4’s from the frame of the bed to the bedroom door. I remember…..go to the bathroom, get a drink because once she locked us in her room, we were not getting out till morning. A man was looking through our bedroom window one night - she put a gun to his face. He took off running, she called police. The next morning the East Side Rapist (that’s what we called him) attacked 4 or 5 houses down from us.we could only longer play outside,walk to the bus stop, go to a friends house just a few houses away.this guy is a monster and destroyed and changed thousands of lives.

crunchy vulva My dog just a sweetie pie, he doesn’t bark, we know he is able to because he saw a snake in the backyard, he is quite, follows me everywhere I go, he is a cocker spaniel, looks like lady and the tramp dog....I fell in love with him when he was only 10 weeks old, yes he is spoiled, we are old and he took the way of a quite and peaceful home, but. When the grandkids come over he can be a live wire, goes down the slide, puts his front paws on the swing and walks back and forth, he thinks he is one of the kids.

I grew up in Rosemont, East Sacramento. DeAngelo terrified everyone. My parents efforts to secure our home and their fear for our safety scared me terribly. Up until that time, I always felt safe and trusted my parents would protect me. It was thier worry and concern of vulnerability that affected me. So many years later, finally, the monster is identified, and will spend the rest of his miserable life in prison. His home in Citrus Heights, where he was arrested, is only half a block away from my brother's house. I had been past his house while walking the dogs, I stood behind him in line at the gas station, I picked produce from the grocer standing right next to him - absolutely no idea that the man who stole a big part of my childhood was close enough I could have punched him in his face.

@Kane Baron yes! A grudge holder! I am almost certain he has done more than is currently known. I had a good friend murdered on her 18th birthday in 1984 and I suspect that he did it. I have been trying to connect the dots. If he ever did case my childhood home, my father was a Lt. Colonel in the US army at the time. Just one of many reasons he likely would have passed on us. It creeps me out to think that I could have been in his line if sight.

I got nothing yet if I had tags expired on the car 3 would be on my tail. It's crazy to think I'd be safe, to each there own in Sacramento, that is why bad things like this happens here in this hell whole. I live in apartments with cameras yet at least 3 people were murdered in this small complex. I trust no one everything is locked and bulted I teach my kids about people like this and government. I made it 40 years all I can do is teach them about curoptions and murders all we can do is be prepared we can't prevent everything. We can be as prepared as we can get. I don't want anyone of us to live in fear, But I let my kids know to be prepared for everything.

I like the way they tone down the fact that he is a police officer. He's not an offender .he is a police offender. He had the phone numbers of the victims who he would call years later, he knew the comings and going's of their entire family and when their husbands would be out. He could get that information as a policeman. At one point he even yelled hands up. And at another point when he was being chased he yelled, my hands are up. He held the flashlight in his victims face in the same manner as a policeman would. He had tools that only an undercover person or policeman would have easy access to. And to this day they still call him the golden state killer instead of the policeman killer

Why is it no one hears this story, or other stories of serial murderers. There's a guy just recently who basicly turned himself in after doing at least 40 murders of complete strangers, all in northern states, West to East coasts, and not a news agency carried the story, for years. And law enforcement is sure, he's one of hundreds, that do it( in North America alone) . A seemingly harmless, slightly odd guy, married with kids, who just went on drives, sometimes on weekends, did murders, and came home, and back to work on Monday like always, like nothing major happened. Weird as 'F' when one finds out, but without knowing, by the story and a message of it, never knowing the guy was, while you were looking at him, planning on how he was going to hide your body, now that you embarrassed him. Freaking strange, how one never knows what someone is capable and perhaps, regularly, of doing. And why call a victimizer a rapist, when the person is killing the people they abuse. Rapist, is a sex abuser and there victims continue to live. Murderer is, regardless of what occurred previous, is someone who takes another's life, a thief of a bodies living life force. We don't call a privacy pirate, a grand theft auto person. Why call a murderer a rapist. Geez 'Feel' the difference?

I think the former female detective is right that he followed that man that made the comment about how a woman wouldn’t be raped with a man in the house. Because there’s just no way that that could be some coincidence. OMG, that’s absolutely bone-chilling to the core, and I just cannot understand why it’d take more than 40 years to catch him. There’s really no justice that he got away with it for so freakin’ long.

@outlawJosieFox
@outlawJosieFox 6 жыл бұрын
SmallTank People did have guns in some circumstances but he was already in the bedroom with a knife to the man's throat before they had any chance to get a weapon. How many actual times do you hear of perpetrators getting shot by householders? And I'm not including trigger happy racists who stalk the streets looking for unarmed black kids nor police who shoot unarmed anyone they like these days either. It's not usually the case that anyone has a chance to get a fire arm in such circumstances and more often than not the gun gets taken away from the householder by the attacker or gets stolen in a burglary. Most people don't want to kill other people, believe it or not, there have been studies into it . That's one reason why we don't have conscription in the West any more , they realised that most recruits deliberately aim so as to miss the enemy, unless they are properly trained in combat. Having a gun in the home does not make you any safer during an attack of this sort and in fact having a gun makes people at risk of getting shot during a heated row with a friend or family member, getting shot accidentally, one of their kids getting hold of the gun, killing themselves in a low moment. There are many reasons why having a gun in the home is actually more dangerous for the homeowner on a daily basis and would be more of an asset to an intruder than to you or I. Well , unless you happen to be a veteran , in which case you could get trigger happy and shoot some stupid kid and then that is your life altered irrevocably. I'm British and it's just an alien concept to me. I don't know how you all cope as I would be terrified if I thought my numpty neighbours were armed at all let alone had military grade weapons?! It's absolutely insane and seems to have quite a lot to do with racism to me as an outsider. I know that I will be shouted down for that but I think that is why you people think it's acceptable to shoot a burglar whereas we just don't!! I really do think deep down that white people in the US think immediately that the burglar is likely to be darker skinned and therefore less human and it's fine to shoot them I think that's why you lot can't sort out universal single payer health care like we have here in the UK as well and why you won't fund contraception properly and why social security and food stamps are also now being defunded. White people in America are so twisted that they think 'I'm not paying into any fund which will give any black man's kid health care!' Strangely one would imagine that right wingers who don't support abortion would be all over programmes which prevent unwanted pregnancy (and therefore abortions, surely?) but instead the GOP radically cut funding for women's health care centres and pregnancy prevention and it makes no sense to me at all since it would obviously cut down on both abortions and food stamps etc and so it only makes sense if regressive white people simply won't fund such services for any black man's wife!? It seems to me that a certain proportion of Americans have fallen for the myth that they have more in common with Trump and Steve Bannon than they do with their black and Hispanic neighbours. When Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are laughing themselves silly and popping the champagne corks and whooping it up over massive tax cuts the Trumptards literally think they are also included BECAUSE THEY ARE WHITE. America. You are shooting yourselves in the foot here truly!! The billionaire class love to divide and conquer us. They are laughing at American taxpayers who are paying for all these pointless rockets in Syria and the $30 billion in so called aid to Israel!? You people have been had. Trump and Putin used your racism, sexism and lack of education against you. It's time now to get rid of Trump and the NRA and the whole corrupt cabal of far right white supremacists in the white house.

Someone should look very closely at his former chief and the entire department. I'll go ahead and assure you they havent been. DeAngelo yes but only then what was not destroyed and purged from the files. A serious federal investigation of the entire department and a renewed investigation into the numerous murders and rapes, attacks of women and girls there whether solved or unsolved everything should be on the table with noone summarily ruled out. What kind of man(much less chief of police) doesnt look closer at a man who threatened to kill you after you fired him for stealing a hammer and dog mace? And then he actually is seen by your daughter in ski mask outside her window at night. The chief saw the foot prints. Maybe a chief that has 2 murder victims one on either side of him and another not far away whose, if I'm not mistaken, husband was convicted of the murder and was a deputy. This is the Chief and his deputy's in a small town police department.

I'm a scientific minded person now, and I'm not just talking. I have a degree in science, and I am a certified teacher. I'm relatively smart. Admittedly, there are smarter people than myself, but had my life not been altered, then that wouldn't be true,. For an experiment, I tried something. I STOPPED eating meat, poultry, and fish. I eat all vegan products now. Guess what? Before I did that, I was constantly approached by people who wanted to fight with me, and many people and animals just seemed to hate me sometimes. However, a couple of years after I became a vegan, a lot of things changed. People started acting friendlier. Animals started acting friendly. I developed equanimity, and things got a lot easier. I'm not saying that I have a PERFECT life now, but it did improve. When people eat animals, it brings a wrath. People who eat meat inherit an evil that makes bad things happen to them. I never would've believe it, but when I changed, I did see an improvement. I got the idea from something Bernard Goetz once said. He said as long as people eat animals, there will be a curse on them. I think he was right. We should STOP imprisoning animals and using them for food. It is wrong and it does bring wrath. Animals don't know any better, but we think at a higher level, and while we still have that ability, we should be utilizing it to stop the curse on this planet. I am a FRIEND, and I want torment on this planet, all of it, to become extinct. I love you all. Please pray for me too. I love you all.

The reality is though It would most likely be useless against someone of this calibre (no pun intended) this guy would learn the habits of his victims and make sure to catch them when they were the most offguard. Unless you have a gun on you at all times, and spend at least 3-4 days a week training with it, and anticipating ambushes at all times, someone like this would still be able to kill you if they really wanted to.

It's good that all women take precautions to protect themselves, and if necessary use deadly force. But the probability of stranger assault is miniscule, almost none existent in your own home. Assault is far more likely to be perpetrated by an acquaintance. So women always need to remember that and never place themselves in vulnerable positions.

yeah but all that time spent not getting attacked by strangers can be spent putting holes in targets at the range and blowing shit up in remote (and safe) areas, which is really really really really fun.

Susan Robertson i would like to know if anyone shat themselves...and were still raped. Crapping yourself seems like a really good deterrent. It almost worked for me once..but it was just my nephew scaring me.

I feel sorry for women I really do, but yes I am attracted. I like 'em all. I will not stop dreaming of a day of freedom for us all, but the only way that will ever be realized is if we start utilizing science as a tool to even take the most microscopic life forms out of torment. That's my dream. I remember when I used to work out a lot and I got huge for awhile, but then I stopped and thought, what the hell am I doing? I'm made out of meat. For what? Oh the dream of being able to engage in mutual coitus with the females of my choosing, I won't lie, is a dream that will never go away. I've been with a lot of females, but it's a damned if you do and if you don't game at this time. At least I am willing to open my eyes and see that a huge mistake has happened here, and I don't challenge the witch I just wish she'd stop tormenting me. I love females and it's not their fault that they wanted to feel the pleasure and love of sex because I liked doing it too. Okay! There's it is in a nut shell. Even if there is no solution, we should still work towards making things better for us all. Children are dying because everyone is selfish and wants to feel the tingle. But, I'm guilty too. Nothing compares to organisms with a good looking partner from the opposite sex. It's dream that starts from inception. Or at least it did with me. I know some witches think they're clever and outsmarted me, and maybe they did, but I don't agree with the curse, and at least I am thinking along the lines of the following: We're not going to ever fix things for ourselves if we are against each other, and we do need to determine who is or is not a friend. I'm not perfect, but I do care a lot about ladies and girls, and I dream about a day where we could all have our dreams without consequences either way. Nice dream right! Yeah, I know it's just a wish, but at least it's mine and I'm not afraid to tell the truth about it. I'm sorry for ever hurting anyone of the opposite sex, but I do want them to realize the game that's being played. A temporary WIN is no victory at all because it won't last. My dream is to work towards a WIN that will benefit all of us living beings forever. We can't stop torment if we embrace it as being normal. It's not normal, and we even need to find ways to take all beings out of torment both in this life and in the spirit world too. I have ideas, but it would take a great deal of wealth. As far as revenge is considered, I am willing to squash all of that, step back, and change myself too. There is really no such thing as revenge here anyway. We all suffer in the end, and children suffer even more than us older ones. My plan: Instead of fighting and harming each other, let's step back, say sorry, hug each other, and start working on a technology that will help us all while also figuring out a way to safe guard against the wrong people getting their hands on it. That's it!
