Why would Condit say on her answering machine before she was reported missing - "you must be out of the country or something. If you get this message...." He apparently knew she was going back to California for her graduation, so his comment about "out of the country" is suspect. His involvement with her was wrong from the start.

Yep, Condit realised he had made a mistake since he was married, he realized Chandra had fallen head over heels in love with him, and she became a problem he needed to get rid of. So he killed the uggo!! LOL. Boy the best part of this whole thing was watching it all blow up in his face! It became the summer in which *THE WHOLE NATION SUSPECTED GARY CONDIT*.... Anyways, no disrespect to the dead girl or her family. In reality, it was a terrible tragedy.
