James Kinetic there is a reason to talk about her looks because men can be overcome by lust and confuse it for love... fact: hot women can cloud men’s judgement the same way a handsome man can “finesse” a woman.... it’s human nature.

Some years ago I dated a man who was like her. Possessive, jealous etc. I started seeing the red flags about 3 months into our relationship. I had close friends warning me about the guy. By the grace of God I listened. Told him my company offered me a better position with a pay raise but I would have to relocate to another state. He said he was not going to uproot his life for any woman (ugh never asked you to) In my head I felt so relieved. Over the next few weeks I searched for a new apartment and changed my phone number. That was pre cellphones. My manager and coworkers were aware of my situation. I really dodged a bullet.

Jodi is borderline. I know a really good guy who married a girl with borderline personality disorder. Kind, faithful, hard working dude and she made his life a nightmare. She would barely let him leave the house and daily accused him of cheating even though he never was. She tracked everywhere he went and every penny he spent. They went to the beach on a vacation one time and he said he was scared to look up from the sand because he knew if he did, she would accuse him of gawking at other women and berate him for it. He eventually got away from her somehow. Last I heard they were separated and she was seeing a counselor. Glad he didn’t end up like Travis.
@bringontherainbows8369

That sounds more like malignant narcissism and these things can tend overlap and/or coexist with personality disorders. borderline alone may not bring these symptoms out of someone as I know several people who are not this controlling and dictating. More anxious to be alone and guilty about it. (Everyone is different tho). It’s almost like you realize they’re past saving when you endure someone with malignant narcissism or someone who makes up the dark triad. Borderline personality is just a spice added on to the mental health havoc that they’re enduring and want to put onto others. I have dealt with someone like that, very controlling and would create narratives out of thin air, (marks on my clothes would mean male cum even tho I was with him and tracked 24/7) you can’t make sense of their inner chaos.

Not to mention a bunch of crimes back in the 1950s- 1990s are still talked about to this day. Does that it make it not important anymore? No. I say that maybe showing a bit of sympathy for something that happened to a real person is important

When you decide to demote someone from 'serious relationship' to 'F-buddy' status, even if they say they're cool with it, proceed with caution. Jodi was biding her time, putting on her happy face, and using sex to convince him no virginal Mormon girl could ever make him happy. If a person has mental health issues like she did (BPD) added into the mix, it can be very dangerous. Clean breaks are always best when intense feelings are/were involved. And in this case, she showed him time and time again that she was unhinged and yet he kept charging forward at the red flags like a bull. There's obviously no justification for what she did, but there are certainly lessons to be learned from this tragic case. When it comes to both men and women, forget the whole 'crazy in the head, crazy in the bed' lure, it's just not worth it.

And while dating his barely legal real, Mormon, virgin girlfriend. Whom he kept bringing marriage up to. And she broke up with him at one point because of that. He asked her to. She even changed religions for him and he was at her conversion ceremony. I know the media and his family are presenting her as crazy and certainly she is, but don't think for a minute he did not play a part in that. He constantly played mind games and played with her emotions. To say he had nothing to do with her snapping is ignorant. He wasn't a boy scout. He called her "the three-holed wonder" like she was some inanimate object and that was probably one of the nicer things he said about her. If he really didn't want to be with her, he should have told her instead of pretending their relationship was going somewhere only to break it off in a cruel way. I feel bad for him and his family that he was murdered. No one deserves that, but no one deserves to be treated like he treated her either and I don't think anyone can expect to treat someone that way forever with no repercussions.

Look at the autopsy photos, the gash on his neck was so vicious it looked like it was yawning. Describing the wounds she inflicted with words alone doesn't get across how violent it was. She's extremely calculating and manipulative, she only cares about getting away with what she did. Every word from her mouth is to cover her ass. Combined with how vicious she is, it's a good thing she's locked away so she can't hurt anyone else. This guy though, what a toxic situation. Woah woah woah..no, this bitch was crazy and was a perfect manipulator who converted to be LDS in hopes of showing him how “devoted” she was. He was a messed up person too...no question. It’s true, he most likely had internal fights over his sexual desires and his religion. But he was trying to get on track..and she was a big reason it wasn’t working. She played that up to her advantage..dangled sex on a stick in front of his face and when it didn’t work anymore, joined his religion to gain back control. Trust me. This hits way close to home for me and I have watched this play out before. Not the murder part, but corrupting someone who is already unsure and the manipulation and sexual control parts mirror my life. I understand this deeper than anyone of you know. Especially being LDS👍

Overly affection: means forced affection, aggressively in your personal space when not invited, regardless if rejected. No shame, no regard for your feelings. They have an agenda. He demoted her from 'girlfriend' to F*ckbuddy. She wanted to marry him and did everything to convince him, from converting to his religion, moving to his city, fulfilling his fantasies, and then telling him she was totally cool with being his plaything while he dated other women. Inside, and unknown to him she was spinning in the crazy and becoming more and more obsessed. Basically a cautionary tale for friends-with-benefits - emotions often get involved, and if you've accidentally chosen to hook up with a closet-psychopath, bad things will happen. Poor Travis.

My brief ex wife pushed to marry and quickly found out she was a sociopath. Not just the loose term but the real psychological disorder. It’s scary. She was doing so much behind my back including roofied me to sleep with another man in my house, made out with my 15 year old son and claimed she would molest him in time and then she screwed get married attorney to pay her attorney bills. She has a very fictitious life she leads on Facebook to appear normal to her distant friends but anyone close would realize how messed up she is. You just have to be careful and watch for the red flags. Surprisingly how crazy some are; both men and women.
