In regards to Women in combat roles.. they need to be VETTED emotionally. As an Army Vet of OEF1 I will tell you.. when the mortars started dropping and those technical hit our towers and the fire fight started MAJORITY of the women except for one who was a Lesbian were in the middle of the TOC and Cafeteria complex under tables crying.. After the first fire fight we had to send multiple women from the CSH and their operational roles back to Uzbek for psych evals because they were distraught when the second fire fight hit we were at 50% personnel capacity & lost 11 officers(Doctors etc) in a bombing. I would like to have a better report but I dont think women should be in combat roles or in Wartime theaters as my testimony comes from a combat support hospital in 2001.. They werent even allowed in combat roles back then.. it was a Combat support Hospital/ Forward Ops Base. Sometimes we should try things.. but if they dont work we CANNOT risk lives for the sake of being inclusive. In the military sure.. in combat.. ehh.. its a no from me.. keep them in Conus positions or Oconus peaceful assignments but combat? Ehh... Perhaps other vets have a more positive experience with women in the field.. Any Marines or Bravos have first hand reports?
