And yes there is nothing wrong with holding either a religious or atheistic view. However, in my opinion, forcing your children to have the same view as you (especially if it financially benefits you and is harmful to their social life) is wrong. I know this from personal experience. It seems that his parents have benefited from the revenue that this church has brought in and I get the feeling that some manipulation is going on here. You could see the discomfort from his parents when asked about this. Also he shouldn't be offering people guidance at such a young age since he lacks experience. He just mindlessly spits bible versus like every evangelical you will ever meet and I doubt he really understands any of the problems people come to him for.

It ruined my youth and made it boring af. I feel sorry for kids like this who are hopelessly bombarded with bible verses before they have the faculties to really formulate their own opinions. Now I fit in nowhere. I hate hanging out with my racist overly conservative christian friends but unfortunately it is all i know. I wish i could enjoy things like a normal person but my parents taught me to feel that all those things are evil. My ability to incorporate into society has been greatly hindered by brainwashing from an early age. Let the kid grow up normally until he can really decide what he wants.

Today my religion is kinda custom. I don’t think anyone believes what I believe as it’s a theistic form of science. So I also agree with you that science is not atheistic.
