I hope Jamie's father is humbled by this. Their recorded jail recordings were appalling. 3-4x the legal limit? I didn't know that was even possible to survive.

This is why she pled guilty. If this case had gone to trial, with all the evidence they had, she could have received life. She ruined several lives, including her own. I hope she thinks about what she did every day... so that she understands why this happened to her... Bad things happen to people who consume alcohol and drive. I guess her father never taught her that.

It’s a little too late to wish you can go back and not kill somebody, because of your stupidity and ignorance going behind the wheel. While being intoxicated after drinking over the limit, when she shouldn’t be driving at all and shouldn’t be driving after drinking period.

I’m not condoning this but I’m just so frustrated with the justice system. You have people who commit murders in the commission of crimes that get 8 years or probation and this lady gets 25 years? Yes she is guilty but it doesn’t make sense how career criminals get lower sentences

@@DeniseBranch-n1r 23 years technically since she got credit for time served and house arrest. She will probably like a lot of cases like these will probably be let out in a couple of years on good behaviour. Also her father will still work with his connections and might be resentenced to a lower term and release sooner than expected and serve the rest on probation. I highly doubt she will serve a full sentence!
