It has been a very long time as an artist that I’ve been inspired to make something someone else has made!! Just reminds me of going to the garden with my Grandmother and we used to go and cut fresh flowers together and we each had our own basket and scissors and she had all colors and kinds of flowers from lovely little Coral bells and White Lily of the valley and blue bells all the way up to large lilies and Iris with ruffled petals of many colors and wild roses and delphiniums… Anything a girl would want in her bouquet and then we would go inside and each of us to pick whatever vase we wanted as he had a large selection of short and tall and Crystal or two-tone crystal and we had the most fun. But in this process I learn to study the individual shapes of the flowers and now that I’m an artist, It is still very much in my mind! But when you paint it, it’s not the same!!! and I do love watercolor Paintings as you can play around with the colors and the lighting but still, it’s not giving me the gratification that I am wanting… Until today when I saw you making this three-dimensional floral art❣️❣️😊 Suddenly my mind came alive yes I wondered ever so much to make a pallet of canvases I have a bouquet of Grandma’s flowers, … Using what years ago I helped my daughter bake with FIMO clay, As we called it here where I live and it looks similar to what you are using. You can buy it in many colors but you can also mix and blend it in Many shades!!! Your work was just most beautiful and watching you was most enjoyable😊💕❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️I truly loved watching your hands work and I appreciated your explanation of your thought process as well as the precision of movement in the flowers and even the leaves. I am a cancer Fighter and this will be something to challenge me and yet, give me a good sense of accomplishment as I work with all the different flowers I wish to Make in a three-dimensional form…… I will make a list and then no it down to realistic and determine the size for a grouping on the wall before I begin… thank you ever so much for being my inspiration❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ you are very talented 3-D artist and I am pleased to of found your video♥️

@@abcreativeofficial Did it shrink as it dried? (Also, any shrinkage or wrinkling of the canvas as the joint compound/wall putty dried? I LOVE that idea! I've used it for texture on wine bottle art, so why not do texture on canvas?!!!) I've had that problem with homemade air dry porcelain I used on bottle art. No matter what recipe I follow, it shrinks so much as it dries--because there is water in it (from glue used as a binder)--that if I glue it to the bottle it cracks & breaks apart, & if I try to dry it off the bottle first, it loses the shape & I can't glue it on after, or the pieces are just out of proportion. I've been avoiding buying manufactured products because I want to be as natural as possible, DIY & upcycle in all of my work, and buying products like this contribute to the chemical output in the environment at large (as well as my home/working environment--& I'm highly sensitive, I guard my liver from any unnecessary burden because I'm heavy metal toxic & liver is very overburdened already!). Anyhow, I do my best to use what's around me rather than purchase manufactured stuff. However, I've not had luck with my homemade "clays" not shrinking then cracking when I glue them in place before dried & cured. If the DAS does not shrink, perhaps I'll be willing to give it a try. I also prefer to avoid polymer molding material even though I know they work well and don't shrink. (My roommate uses them for gaming miniatures, so I tried his 2 part polymer on one project myself and it worked great. But...plastic. *frown*)
