Great reaction! Blood, Sweat and Tears is an interpretation of Herman Hesse's classic coming of age novel, Demian. Both the book and the video explore the temptations associated with growing into adulthood. This song and video builds on BTS's earlier HYYH (Most Beautiful Moment in Life) series which deals with the struggles of youth as youth. Just on the kiss, there is a misconception that its a contract with the devil but this is not the case. Hesse's book was an exploration of psychologist Carl Jung's ideas about self-knowledge and individual identity. The kiss is related to the idea that both good and bad co-exists not only in the world but in ourselves (this is an idea explored in Jung's work and in Hesse's Demian). By embracing this duality, that both exist within ourselves and the world, you are able to attain self-knowledge, freedom and redemption to discover who you really are. After the kiss, Jin walks towards the mirror, which has above it a quote from German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, which says: "one must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star". Basically, this means by embracing all that you are, even the chaos of uncertainty and doubt within you (ie. the good/bad etc) then you will discover your individual creativity and become the unique individual you are suppose to become. At the end you see Jin's face cracking and this represents the quote from Hesse's Demian, which was used in the last of the 7 WINGS trailers (which were released before this for the album which the song is on): "The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas". So basically, Jin is breaking out of his old world, leaving his child like self behind to become his true self as an adult.

I saw BTS and quickly open it😂 Eh, if you want to know, we A.R.M.Ys (BTS fandom) always make theories when BTS make a comeback. Blood, Sweat and Tears have connection between 4 MVs include the latest MVs which is blood, sweat and tears. The 1st one is 'I Need U' (Album: In The Mood For Love pt. 1), 2nd is Run (Album: In The Mood For Love pt.2), 3rd is Fire (Album: Special Album: Young Forever). For the 3rd Album, maybe its have less connections. And the last one, Blood, Sweat and Tears (Album: WINGS). Before blood, sweat and tears mv came out, its followed by 7 Short films (Begin, Lie, Stigma, First Love, Reflection, Mama, Awake). Each one of them are different person/members. You should take a look at their youtube channel. Very cool ♡.♡ So, from those short films, we A.R.M.Ys made theories from ourselves and share it to other so we can combined them as one. But we're not really sure if the theories true or not. Sorry for my bad english.

The first painting is Lucifer's fall from grace, one of you picked up the religious undertones all thru the MV as well as referencing the book demien. At the end the statue represents temptation and sin in the form of a fallen angel when he kissed it its ta form of acceptance. In most literature a kiss is the most common way to seal a pact. V has had is wings torn from his back he is the physical representation of temptation

the last music video about bts blood sweat and tears, is actually based on a 2010 movie called( The chatroom) if ya watch the whole movie you will undertsand, biggest evidence which relates the music vid with the movie is, if you pause the music video at 3:13(not the react video btw) you will see a label or a sign that says - chatroom 2.3 . nevertheless other parts which relates to the movie can be seen in previous music vidoes which has a story in it done by bts .

I don't know if you already found out about the meaning of BTS MV, here I summarized the meaning/concept of the MV. The songs itself means that there's a lot of temptation and seduction in life that can make people go astray from their dreams and achievement in life. Hence the MV shows numerous arts and paintings, means "the temptation" and it shows that people need to overcome such temptation in order to achieve goal in life. Basically the song, the MV are inspired by the book title Demian by Herman Hesse. If you've read the book, you will find the same quote said in the MV, in the book. Yeah.... this make sense right.

The last vid was bts for blood sweat and tears, THE MV IS BASED ON A BOOK CALLED DEMIAN ( I THINK THAT'S THE NAME OF THE BOOK SINCE I FORGOT😂😂) just short explanation, the blonde which is V is the devil or fallen angel. Jin (the pink haired guy) kissed the statue aka V to seal a deal with him. After he sealed the deal with him, everything breaks apart. here's a short explanation for the reactors who asked: BTS "Blood Sweat & Tears" concept was 'boy meets temptation'. their last album was about the stages of youth, and now their new one tackles the struggles of youth leading into adulthood. The video, and their album is inspired by Hermann Hesse's book "Demian" so a lot of the 'deep and artsy' stuff was symbolism alluding to the book. :)

the last video bts blood swear and tears is one of the bts MV and part of their storyline. their whole series started like about a year ago. there are many theories behind it and is based on a book named something like demian. you can search bts theories and u will get lots of analysis (in word form or some fans made them into videos and post on youtube) the whole story is about something like alter ego and the main idea is to tell us treasure our youth (something like that correct me if I'm wrong)

Kissing the statue means embracing evil. The Wings Album is about Boy Meets Evil. BTS' albums tell their or their or their age group's story as per their producer and CEO. Notice how the MV shows different types of sin. The blonde guy with broken wings, V, who was always around the boys signified temptation. The lead's kissing of the statue is his acceptance of that temptation. The covering of the eyes probably meant hesitation to take a look at the temptation in front of him cause the build-up and the narration part said he didn't want to have a part in evil he didn't want to see.

"Blood, Sweat & Tears" is based basically on the main idea of the book "Demian: The Story of Emil Sinclair" which is basically saying that for every good, there needs to be a bad because one side needs to balance the other out.

In summary, its about struggles of youth- the journey from boy to man- the journey of a self-actualised artist/musician by surrendering your soul to the music, art and industry. It's really meaningful and deep and can be interpreted in different ways. The beauty of any BTS song/MV is that its always meaningful and relatable...they challenge their fans and viewers to really think beyond what's given to them on the surface.
