I always found the animal world quite fascinating and that does include spiders, specially tarantulas. I love watching videos and learning about them. For example why do their legs bend towards the body when they die. Because they use hydrostatic pressure to extend their legs, but flexing is done by muscles. When they die, the pressure stops and the muscles pull the legs in.

Well in a lot of spoders, males there die earlier or after the copulation anyway. Having the female spider eat the male also increases the visibility of the brood. There's also species where the mother dies after laying eggs and making a burrow - she closes it and dies and becomes her babies first meal dying very closely to them leaving the eggs

Just a little correction on the mating spider pair... that is NOT a species from Malaysia but from Africa. They're a species of baboon spiders, recognizable by the pattern on the back of the abdomen. Kinda hard to tell which species exactly but it seems an Augacephalus spp. Please fact check your content.
@a_lethe_ion4 ай бұрын
The video is from a Malaysian user afaik
@Andizu14 ай бұрын
@a_lethe_ion the user can be Malay but the spider species isn't. The markings on its abdomen classifies it as a "baboon" spider species and those only live on the African continent.

When my daughter was three, she was up in the middle of the night because she was sick. I took her into our backyard so we could sit in the warm summer air for a few moments, and while we were there, a very loud bullfrog started croaking somewhere not that far away. "Mama, didju know dat fwog is croakin becums he yookin for anudder fwog to KISS?!?!? Hims wanna kiss annuder fwog reeeeeeel bad." So I said yes, that's....essentially true. Male frogs call out so they can find a mate. "Yep uh-huh I knows. An hims can kiss a boy fwog or a girl fwog, anny fwog hims wants to! We will still yuv hims no madder wot." Fwoggy Pride. 🐸🏳️🌈🐸

Well first the spider makes a little bit of tissue to ejaculate on. Then he takes it with the pedipalp bulb And for some spiders the males intentionally offer themselves as food. See the widows. In others, like wolf spiders and pisaurids give a food item as gift... and some run off with it after the act

This isn't a funny joke. You should delete it. And it doesn't make it funny to change the gender of the assault victim to a man. You originally wrote it as a woman victim, but changed it to man after I commented. It isn't funny for men to be r*ped either.

I like her but I think she’s using too much childish drama when looking at some graphic animal parts. She is supposedly an expert in her field, why then does she act so silly when she sees them doing normal things. I have to fast forward through some of her ridiculous outburst.
@KristinHall09187 ай бұрын
That's how she is in all of her videos. She makes it light hearted and funny while also trying to educate and provide facts. If you prefer a more serious tone I would suggest maybe those National Geographic documentaries.

@@KristinHall0918 thank you for your suggestions, however, I prefer to watch lots of things, not just National Geographic, maybe you should focus on telling others what to do but thanks for coming to her rescue from the big bad bully, who may have indicated that she was may be just a little bit overreaching in her enthusiasm to please her audience. That was abundantly clear.

@@ramonakent356 I never said you were a bully. I'm just saying if you don't like the way someone you are watching reacts to something then why watch them? As you said you like to watch a lot of things. Plenty out there to choose from. If you don't like it move on. You can't expect a person to change their personality just because you disagree. Out of all of her videos I have watched and scrolling hundreds of comments, yours was the only one I have ever seen take issue with her responses.

@@KristinHall0918 you have absolutely no right to tell me to move on! Now you’re the bully. Why is it that you are so obsessed with someone’s comment you disagree with.? Sounds like the problems with you not with me. So you need to move on, and lighten up! Obviously, you don’t have a lot to do. You may comment under someone’s channel, but you do not have the right to tell another commentor what they should, or should not do or say. So therefore, go and Police the other commenters do not come after me I’m the wrong one for you to do that to trust me. if you don’t like what I have to say, and if you don’t like my response, that’s your problem.
